Coconovo — Restaurant in Florence

Wow! This restaurant stunned us. I’ve had their pizza a couple of times. The ingredients are fresh and the quality is good, but not exceptional. Difference being that if you’re in the area for a pizza, do drop in and you won’t regret it. But i won’t recommend a long trip just for their pizza. I would, however, highly recommend a trip just to eat their pastas, because that’s what we tried at the dinner. The Mediterranean pasta, and the Pici with Salsiccia and Porcini mushrooms were both outstanding. All the ingredients were great quality and fresh. The desserts too were beyond expectations. So I am taking a coffee course for one week nearby. I came here for dinner almost every day for dinner for entire week. I am not a stranger to Italian food at all since I’ve been to Florence 3 times and other city in Italy like Rome , Naples , sorrento, Sicily island as well. This place is stunning!!!!!! This place was near where we were staying so we thought we'd give it a shot. We enjoyed it so much, we went back 3 more times!!! Home made, fresh food, done right!
