Ristorante Pizzeria Cinzia — Restaurant in Florence

We're on vacation from America and found this place online. My wife, our two teenage kids and I had an exceptionally great meal here. Since we don't speak a lick of Italian, we were relieved when the waiter handed us menus in English. I had linguine in red sauce with shrimp, clams and mussels, my wife had veal, my daughter had a standard spaghetti in beef sauce and my son had spaghetti with clams. We also had a bruschetta appetizer. Everything was TOP NOTCH including the pizza we ordered AFTER we finished all our main courses (today was a travel day so we didn't eat much beforehand...). My daughter then ordered the strawberries with cream dessert which was a great way to finish the meal....

Che delusione. Alcuni anni fa prendevo frequentemente le pizze da asporto e ogni tanto ci venivo a cena con la famiglia o con amici: la pizza era buona, ben cotta, con un impasto molto particolare, leggero e quasi croccante. Ci sono tornato stasera dopo almeno 4 anni: le persone sono le stesse ma la pizza no. Ho preso due pizze da asporto (una vegetariana e una 4 formaggi) e sono risultate quasi immangiabili, con impasto pesante e mal lievitato e anche poco cotte. E non è da dire che la cosa sia dovuta alla fretta, visto che c'era pochissima gente. Risultato: pizze buttate via dopo averne mangiate meno di un quarto e stomaco pesantissimo, speriamo bene.
