El Inca Ristorante Peruviano — Restaurant in Florence

Let's start with the hospitality that was so good, the woman was friendly, kind and helpful while choosing our dishes, she explained about some ingredients and gave us suggestions according to what we like. It didn't take so long to get our food, and I confess that it was much much better and delicious than I ever could imagine! We had: "Anticuchos de corazòn" as a starter, a beef heart with potato and tasty sauces. The meat was well cooked and served in a nice way. I would suggest to taste! As a second we had "Chaufa salvaje" that mainly includes rise and pig meat, with soy sauce, eggs and chives. It was good.. And "Lomo saltado", it mainly includes beef and rise, served with small tomato, potato and onion. I liked it so much, but I would ask less soy sauce with the beef. The beer "Cuzqueña Malta" was good. For the sweets we took "Mix of quinoa with milk and berries" I can't explain how delicious it was!! You have to try it! Part of enjoying the tasty food , the presentation of every dish was really good. I like the ambient of this restaurant, every small detail refers to the Peruvian culture. We called to book our table before going, I would suggest that too.. The resraurant is quite big, you can go there as a family because they also have a kids menu, you can go as couple or group of friends, it goes for all ages. There are few tables out if you like to have your meal with a fresh air! I want to also highlight that there's a path for people with a wheelchairs to access to the room inside. You can find a parking at the same street, if not directly there, there're always places around, I assure that.

I would like to thank everyone who works there that made our dinner good and comfortable, I can't wait to go and eat again 😍. After all that description above, you can understand that I absoloutely recommend...

This is one of the best meal I've ever had in the whole 2016. And it's now ready to say considering the year is close to the end.

My wife and I have been cuddled since our first arrival. Being this place just a bit outside the town centre, it's impossible for you to stumble in here by accident. In fact, when we first arrived, we were the only customers, and - I can't negate it - this was a bit strange and instilled some doubts.

However, the owner / chef made everything to make us feeling like at home, making the whole dinner a discovery travel through the Peruvian taste.

We arrived here thanks to a Groupon voucher, for which you normally don't expect that much. In our circumstance, we have been served a starter, three half portion of three different mains and a dessert, all nicely presented as in a 4 Michelin stars restaurant. A real bargain along with a pleasant experience.

Looking at the portions of other guests arrived later in the evening, I can definitely say portions are really generous if you come as a regular. And price is definitely worth.

The interior is nicely decorated, with lots of elements that recall the Peruvian culture. Toilet was clean.

Service may be a bit slower, but I definitely recommend you to pay a visit if you can. Travelling by bus to here takes 20 mins from the main train station...

Tanta approssimazione.

Il locale non è all'altezza delle recensioni che abbiamo letto. La nostra esperienza è stata disastrosa.

Siamo andati a cena in questo locale per il compleanno della mia fidanzata, dopo che nella mattinata precedente avevo prenotato raccomandandomi di preparare almeno una candelina al momento del dolce. Al nostro arrivo, però, abbiamo scoperto che la nostra prenotazione non era stata registrata. Il cameriere, dopo aver messo in dubbio che avessi davvero prenotato (fortuna che avevo la chiamata sul cellulare) ci ha detto che, al limite, avremmo dovuto attendere, cosa assolutamente fuori luogo. Ovviamente è andata in cavalleria anche l'idea di una candelina sul dolce... Pazienza.

Ci hanno fatto accomodare in un locale carino e pulito. La cucina a vista (e aperta) però, evidentemente non dispone di adeguati sistemi di aspirazione, perché il ristorante era pieno di odori. I piatti non sono eccezionali, dall'aspetto non troppo tradizionale. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è pessimo. Le modiche quantità non sono affatto compensate dalla qualità. È vero che le presentazioni sono curate ma ciò va a discapito del taglio tradizione che il locale vorrebbe avere, per come viene pubblicizzato.

Come antipasti abbiamo preso un tortino al branzino e peperoni, buono. Forse il piatto migliore. Altro antipasto, una tartare di salmone decisamente poco saporita.

Come secondo, un riso al pesce abbastanza buono e i gamberi con avocado e platano, immangiabili, anche se per fame li abbiamo finiti.

Decisamente troppo alti i prezzi dei cocktail (10 euro l'uno).

In definitiva, per due antipasti, due piatti principali, due cocktail, un dolce e due caffè, abbiamo speso 79 euro, che possono non sembrare troppi, ma lo sono, in relazione a qualità e quantità.

Altra gaffe, avermi portato il conto senza che lo chiedessi e avermelo aperto di fronte. Ha deciso il cameriere chi dei due doveva pagare e quando. Inaccettabile.

Tra il secondo e il conto abbiamo assistito ad una scena davvero sconcertante. La cameriera arriva ad un tavolo con una bottiglia di spumante (o prosecco). Tenta goffamente di aprirla, senza riuscirci. Abbandona il tavolo e si dirige verso la cucina e cede la bottiglia al collega che torna al tavolo e la stappa tenendola praticamente in orizzontale. Risultato: spumante per terra e due clienti bagnati. Non contento, il cameriere invece di far arrivare un mocio per pulire, afferra una manciata di tovaglioli di carta e asciuga usando i piedi. Dopo, naturalmente, raccoglie tutto con le mani.
