L'Approdo A Firenze — Restaurant in Florence

It was a year or so ago that I was there, but the beer was well-priced and the free snacks were abundant and tasty. The first review is probably right about the pizza, but when it's a free bar snack, I'm not quibbling. The location marked here is wrong, however- The Bounty is further east along Via Aretina, just past the intersection with Via della Casaccia (diagonally opposite a great little trippaia van, unless the roadworks have forced him away). It's still via Aretina 139, but it's a different 139. And its schtick is that it is decked out in a nautical theme with lots of wood, and separated into different nooks and crannies, like seafaring...

Very nice ! Ok, i confess i love boats, sailing and all what is around this special world. But the place is really nice: wood everywhere, the one used for the boats. In fact, there is a real one inside and it is possible to eat sitting in that boat. Food is almost a must: the pizza is saporite and tasteful. There are several kind of different pizzas and it is easy to have the one you like. Additionally, it is possible to have appetizers and a very good dessert, like a crep. In occasione di un concerto al vicinissimo Obi Hall siamo venuti qui per cenare in tranquillità prima dell’evento. Il pub-ristorante è molto caratteristico, arredato in stile marinaro con tanto legno e con tanti oggetti della marineria appesi qua e là. Pur non avendo prenotato, ma essendo arrivati presto (intorno alle 19), siamo riusciti a trovare posto. Il menù è piuttosto vario, ma risaltano in modo particolare determinati piatti della tradizione napoletana. Essendo partiti per mangiare una buona pizza non potevamo capitare in un posto migliore. Così ho preso una pizza col crudo, in cui però ho fatto sostituire la mozzarella con lo stracchino. Ottima e spessa come dev’essere la classica pizza napoletana, ma non gommosa; proprio come piace a me. Essendoci rimasto lo spazio per qualcos’altro ho adocchiato sul menù il panzerotto napoletano, ripieno con prosciutto, funghi, e mozzarella. Sfiziosissimo. Un paio di McFarlad alla spina (medie) hanno innaffiato il tutto. Essendosi ormai avvicinata l’ora d’inizio del concerto abbiamo saltato il dessert e siamo andati direttamente al caffè. Come digestivo mi son fatto portare un assenzio (presente sul menù) incuriosito dal fatto che l’ho spesso sentito nominare ma non lo avevo mai assaggiato. Servizio molto rapido e cortese, e prezzi...
