Ristorante Pizzeria Il Flamingo — Restaurant in Florence

We had a pleasant experience at this local restaurant for lunch. Simple Italian dishes like salads, many different thin crust pizzas or bresaola etc. Some of the prices are very attractive, but the salads were expensive relative to the amount we got, the the Il Re and the Il Flamingo. Portions were more like a contorni than a meal. Friendly cook and lady who did the service. Overall still pleasant and would easily go back to if we are in the area again. Il locale è spartano, ordinato, semplice, ordinato e pulito am non particolarmente accogliente. Il ragazzo al servizio è molto simpatico, alla mano ma non di certo un professionista, tutto questo aiuta però a sentirsi in famiglia, a proprio agio. Il posto è sulla strada, facilmente accessibile ma non semplicissimo il parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze. Detto questo passiamo alla cena. Ho assaggiato i gamberoni al whisky, davvero freschi e buoni, voto 8,5, poi la pizza nduja e burrata, voto 9. Sottile, ben cotta ottimamente farcita. Tanto buona da fare il bis e provare l'impasto al carbone con mortazza, tracciata e pistacchi, anche meglio dell'altra!!!
