I am an American living in Foggia on business for the last 3 months. Since my arrival, I have tried a few cafe’s out in hopes of finding my “One”. I am quite particular in choosing my breakfast spot because once I find it, I tend to stay loyal. Well, look no further. I have found the “One”. Initially, I needed the cafe to be warm and inviting. It’s tough to want to hang out in an environment that makes you feel rushed. Now, I have to say also that living in Foggia is an acquired taste. The population is made up of a very tight knit community. Everyone knows everyone and outsiders are typically met with a type of cold feeling. However, not at the Oro Café. As you approach, you will observe some of the older men talking about the days upcoming events and the natural hub-bub around town. As you enter, you will see this very clean and elegant stainless steel espresso machine and an exorbitant amount of various pastries laid inside of a massive glass and mahogany case. The Baristas and staff welcome you and make you feel like one of the locals. My Italian is limited and as I use my translator app, the staff eagerly wait for me to try my hand at pronouncing my questions. As I look around I see that they have many many liquors on sale as well. During my stay, I had family members come to visit. I have a very rowdy 2 year old. One morning I brought the family in for coffee and the staff completely changed direction and made the entire event about my son. He was thoroughly entertained!! In closing, the Oro Café is the best in Foggia! This is a place for amazing espresso and pastries as well as lunch! I will definitely miss all of these fabulous people when it’s my time to leave...

Unassuming, almost hidden, this gem is not to walk by. You MUST stop and go inside.... Here you will find a selection of dishes and sides made fresh this morning, and a service from wonderful helpful staff just as impressive as the food. Choose at the counter fish, meat, pasta or salad with veggie options and if you have any room at all left, dont leave without a sweet pastry or deluxe ice cream. Wash down with an ice cold beer, wine or water. We had a bloated belly and felt like we had an evening meal, at approx 2pm on a scorching day, the air con was very appreciated. The real secret? All this for only €10 each 🤷🏼‍♀️😱 🤫....I feel like...

I have a huge appreciation for the atmosphere, its staff and heart warming attitude towards the clients. I've always had the best moments there which are full of joy and laughter. Everything that is sold is scrumptious, I strongly defend, this is the best place in Foggia to savor...
