Ristorante Silvia — Restaurant in Framura

We were treated like family from the moment we walked in. During the summer everyone’s at the beach so we had the whole place to ourselves for lunch. Dinner time gets slammed but the vibe is wonderful either way. After a week in Florence we needed vegetables and fish. We started with the fresh anchovies in lemon and olive oil and the tuna carpaccio. Both exquisitely fresh and simple and delicious. We then had hand made trofie with their home made pesto… 10/10. We finished off with the fish of the day Ligurian style. The potatoes were home grown and the tomatoes local. Eventually we found out (after ordering the fig tart for desert) that everything was either from a local farm or their own yard. Real food made with love. I felt like my Italian grandmother I never knew...

We tried a lot of restaurants in Cinque Terre and Portofino yet nothing hits the same as Silvia. The ambiance was extremely cozy and homey, and their outside garden was just beautiful. The service was 10/10! The owner and the waitress (maybe her daughter?) was so warm, kind, and attentive! We came here 3 times for dinner and they always treat us so well. The food especially treated us incredibly well. Everything tastes so good, authentic, and incredibly fresh (especially the seafood which you should get). You can tell that they put a lot of love into this food! Soo good and highly recommend this place! I hope to come...

Um es vorweg zu nehmen, war uns das Konzept der Menüfolge nicht vertraut. Dies scheint nach Literaturstudium allerdings üblich zu sein.

Die Vorspeise (Muscheln mit Teigfüllung) war geschmacklich und handwerklich solide ausgeführt.

Uns war nicht bewusst, dass normalerweise zwei Hauptgänge existieren (ein Nudelgericht und ein reines Fisch/Fleischgericht). Diese haben wir auf zwei Personen aufgeteilt (weil, wer soll das alles essen - und bezahlen?). Das Nudelgericht (schwarze Nudeln mit Scampies) war sehr schmackhaft und ausgefallen, jedoch sehr klein. Der Fisch (Seebrasse) war hervorragend. Man sollte jedoch nicht vergessen eine Beilage (Contorno) zu bestellen, da einen sonst nur ein Fisch vom Teller anlächelt. Die Auswahl an Beilagen ist sehr übersichtlich. Es gibt nur Pommes Frites, gemischten Salat oder Tomaten. Da geht sicher mehr. Würde man Gang eins und zwei miteinander kombinieren, hätte man ein in Mitteleuropa übliches Gericht. Zudem war der Salat ohne alles. Hier kann von der Küche schon verlangt werden, dass ein Salat mit einem Dressing oder einer Vinaigrette angerichtet wird, und die Leistung nicht nur daraus besteht Gemüse klein zu schneiden. Das kann jeder. Dafür war das Dessert der Oberhammer. Vanilleeis mit Espresso. Süß und aromatisch. Einfach Klasse.

Alles in Allem eine gute Küche, die aber auch Ihren Preis hat. Das Ambiente im Lokal war gedämpft gemütlich und charmant, obwohl auch die Dekoration bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen wirkte. Das ist aber Geschmackssache.

Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und trotz Sprachbarriere lösungsorientiert und servicebewusst. Zudem wirkte die Mitarbeiterin herzlich, vertraut und hat die Gänge, so sie nur einzeln bestellt waren, paarbewusst platziert. Sehr nett.
