This place was recommended by our host and we decided to give it go despite the reviews on how rude the owner/staff were. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the food as having arrived at approximately 8 we were told there were no tables after the waiting staff enquired with the owner who came out, looked at us, and said no. This was clearly not the case as there were plenty of empty ones and they didn’t fill up, which we can attest to after going to a nice pizza place next door. CENA DI FINE ANNO DA DIMENTICARE Tavolo prenotato dopo richiesta esplicita di pezzogna all'acqua pazza. In due, dopo un'insalata con polpettine di cernia dignitosa, prendiamo una linguina allo scoglio consigliata dal ristoratore come 'fuori menu' e la pezzogna all'acqua pazza di cui sopra. Dopo oltre 35 minuti di attesa assolutamente ingiustificata, ci vengono servite le due portate principali. Ebbene, la linguina allo scoglio era asciutta di brutto e troppo piena di anelli di calamari, 3 pannocchie e nessun gambero o mazzancolla, ma soprattutto non aveva nessun profumo e sapore di mare fresco; sorge il dubbio che i calamari fossero surgelati e le pannocchie avanzate dal giorno precedente. Per quanto riguarda la pezzogna all'acqua pazza, mi è stata presentata con circa 200 ml di acqua brodosa appena colorata da 2 (due) pomodorini. Nessuna traccia di aglio, prezzemolo, peperoncino e vino bianco, ma soprattutto troppo cotta. E ci credo, dopo 50 minuti dall'ordine, altro che pezzogna all'acqua pazza, il povero pesce si è proprio suicidato. Ma io dico, se alcuni piatti non siete all'altezza di cucinarli, perchè non lo dite esplicitamente, ci fate più bella figura. We arrived 2 hours before the closing time, we see several empty (double) tables. We ask for a table of 2, and after checking with the owner they say they are all booked. Then we ask if later is ok, and then they say they are closing kitchen in 20 minutes. So then how can all the tables be booked? Directly lying to our faces..very disappointing. We will...
