We went for dinner. Location and ambiance is perfect! Outdoor seating is on a pedestrian street in the old section of town. Beautiful and romantic. Menu is small plates to share with a variety of local specialties and sandwiches. I personally found the selection of panini to be more lunch oriented but with a variety for all tastes. We ordered a variety of plates for 5 people. All of us including 2 preteen children adventurous eaters. Food was fresh. Prepared to order but unfortunately we were never brought our salad or offered dessert or coffee until every other table was cleared. We travel the world and are easy, outgoing, humble, respectable people and know when we are ignored. It was apparent that because our Italian language was not strong we were forgotten and for that experience we can only offer 3 stars. I would offer less if the food wasnt prepared so fresh to order. This is our honest review....ok, yet fresh food but mediocre service for foreigners. Definitely bland in comparison to home made cooking, fresh stewed unseasoned tomatoes over pasta? eh that to me says it all..... the house red wine is not so delicious either. But the atmosphere is beautiful.

5 stelle sono davvero poche. Posto unico dove mangi davvero prodotti fatti con materie di primissima qualità. Proprietari e tutto il personale davvero gentili, amorevoli e disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti accolti sin da subito, siamo stati all'esterno in una splendida via antica, calma, con luci calde arancio (splendide fino a quando non saranno sostituite dal freddo led) e siamo stati davvero in grazia di Dio. Cucina vera e tipica con prodotti fatti per essere gustati. Molto molto carini anche con la mia dolce amica a 4 zampe Nebbia, che ha fraternizzato anche con i gatti sulla strada. È stato come stare in un luogo che conosci da sempre, forse anche perché le persone belle dentro e col sorriso sul cuore, sanno tanto di famiglia. Grazie di cuore, ci torneremo sicuramente!

Abbiamo cenato ieri sera in questa piccola trattoria che conosco fin da bambina, essendo originaria del paese. Ora la gestione è cambiata ed è totalmente affidata a giovani che hanno scommesso su una mission a dir poco impossibile, visto il progressivo spopolamento di questi territori, ben lontani dalla ribalta turistica. Che dire? Sapori autentici, uguali a quelli di casa. E prezzi davvero contenuti per l'ottima qualità. Torneremo senz'altro per provare tutti i piatti! Alla prossima!

Beautiful location, busy busy busy but in a good way ! The meatball starter was delicious and their salad was one of the best we have had on this trip. Do not pass up the chance to visit this restaurant but come early, it fills up quickly. Highly recommend for home cooked Salento food and good local...

Ci siamo recati casualmente in questa trattoria, grazie alle indicazioni degli abitanti di Galatone e speranzosi di trovare una vera cucina del posto. Il risultato è andato oltre le aspettative, abbiamo trovato un location tipica, tavoli all'aperto nel bel mezzo delle vie del paese, circondati da signore del posto sedute in strada per cercare un po di frescura e musica rilassante come sottofondo. Il titolare, Santino (anche se non è il suo vero nome 😆) ci ha servito una cena che seguiva una precisa richiesta "PIATTI TIPICI", e così è stato. Dall'antipasto fatto di taralli farciti, fritti tipici, affettati e formaggi...per poi passare alle deliziose salsicce, spezzatino e peperoni e uova. Una cena perfetta. Il tutto per 25€ a testa circa più un buonissimo amaro del posto.

Lo consiglio a tutti e appena sarò nuovamente in zona tornerò sicuramente a trovarti.
