I cannot rave enough about Sascianne in Galatone. Hands down, they serve the best pizza in town! Each visit is a delightful experience because not only is the food exceptional, but the staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive.

Wow. There were only 2 tables besides me. The waitress didn’t speak much English, but I don’t expect that, that’s the purpose of the menu, right? Point at a thing. I’ll eat and pay for that thing. It took 10 minutes to get a qr Code menu, which wouldn’t load. Then the waitress- who had to walk past me to get to the other customers, ignored me for 30 minutes. She walked past me and literally TURNED HER HEAD so she could avoid eye contact. The other tables looked concerned, like they could not figure it out, either. I left, starving, when she didn’t even respond to me...

Non è una gran soddisfazione effettuare una recensione negativa,ma in casi come questo la considero doverosa. Si può comprendere che la serata della notte della Taranta ci possano essere difficoltà dovute a un maggior afflusso di gente,ma non è ammissibile che dopo aver ordinato una prima volta, ci abbiano detto che gli antipasti misti fossero finiti, poi successivamente,dopo la richiesta di entrecotes di cavallo,che anche esse fossero terminate, ed infine,dopo aver virato su tre pignate di polpo,che si siano presentati con due sole pignate lasciando un commensale a bocca asciutta... il giovane cameriere sembrava più imbarazzato di noi a dover riferire ogni volta il nuovo contrattempo, ma quello che lascia proprio interdetti è la tempistica della gestione degli ordini,si era in un ristorante non ad un picnic fuori porta. Il titolare alle nostre rimostranze all uscita ha pensato di cavarsela addossando le colpe al giovane cameriere e offrendo un amaro,ma avrebbe fatto più bella figura ad assumersi le sue colpe e a scusarsi semplicemente per i disguidi.
