5 weeks before arrival we booked 6 days stay at Corte Del Bosco (CDB). ||3days before arrival, we were contacted because of there, unfortunately, was overbooked, so that we could not get the booked 2-room apartment with balcony.||||We accepted CDB's solution of us moving to another apartment along the way, as there were no other options.||We arrived at CDB, and stayed in apartment no. 10, for 3 days (nice bright and large apartment without balcony, but with a tiny sitting area, (out on the stairs)), after which we had to move to apartment no. 12. ||||Before moving, we commented on the sad apartment (12) which was very dark, damp and also did not contain the desired balcony, but unfortunately there were no other alternatives.||||Apartment 12, is located in the lower level, and is in shade until 1 hour before sunset. ||The living room/kitchen contains one small window, which is (east-) facing to the waste sorting area. The only way to get light in the apartment is to open the entrance door, which faces a 'common area' where CDB, among other things, has its office.||After one night, in some very bad beds, we came to the conclusion this didn't work for us, which is why we had to book other lodging.||The CDB has regretted the whole affair. ||However, we didn't get what we ordered, the fault is theirs, the price are quite high, we are in no way compensated for the inconvenience, therefore we didn't want to spend our last days of vacation at CDB. A very boring experience, and an invitation to others to check which apartment they book with CDB, as there is a very big difference...
Read moreWe pre-booked five nights, but stayed six. The hostess were so helpful. Gave us a map with recommendations on our arrival, pointed out a nice vineyard, and much moore. The apartments (accommodation) is located in nice and quiet soundings and are great for kids. They have a swimming pool with a depth of 60cm and 160cm. Which were perfect for us and our baby boy (16 months). Also they have bbq areas, bicycles (10 EUR deposit), trampoline, ping-pong, volleyball and other activities. We stayed in apartment 1b, and it was more than spacious for our small family. We prepared many meals here, but also went to a great restaurant straight across the street, which had some of the best food we tasted in Italy - so far. We used the bikes (had seat for children) down to Gardar city/beach which were so nice and beautiful. Lots of restaurants and ice-cream shops. High recommendations if...
Read moreOne of the best places I’ve stayed. Old wine buildings converted to modern apartments that seems to each have their own style. Every apartment have their own terrace or outdoor seating, and the asymmetrical layout of the compound makes the place so beautiful and nice to be around. Great view over the valley, too. The pool is excellent and long enough for actual swimming, with plenty of chairs. 1km or so from Garda city, so easy to reach but quiet at night apart from the occasional car. Medea is very helpful and accommodating and helped us with grill, kitchen utensils etc. The bigger apartments have air condition, but is noisy, so you might have to sleep without it on (which depending on the outside temperature can get hot). WiFi is so-so. All in all a...
