Centro Surf Club — Restaurant in Genoa

I have been twice during my last stay in Genoa. This is a paradise corner in the heart of the city. The beach club entrance is perhaps a bit more expensive that others but you can clearly see the extra care they put in it. The place is so clean and well maintained, the staff is genuinely smiley and helpful. The lifeguards by the pool and the beach are fantastic, so patients with the children and were giving actual swim advices :). The pool has sea water and is very clean. They have hot showers, ping pong, calcio balilla and the food is varied and really really good! Paola, the owner, is very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place and I look forward to visit again. My sister in law with family and a dear friend of mine always go there and they are very happy too. Typical Italian beach place incl private pool and sun-beds.

Entrance fee incl. two sum-beds and umbrella 50 eur. However is also including sport equipment like kayaks, surfboards etc which you can use in the sea. Of course incl lifeguards.

Excellent shape and condition of the equipment.

Restaurant was tasty and fair. Also fries for the kids. Stuff was always very friendly.

Overall…not cheap, but worth it to have an relaxing day...

“Una pessima esperienza”

Prenoto questo posto fiduciosa e convinta di fare bella figura nei confronti della mia amica ma....la serata ha purtroppo preso una piega diversa dalle mie aspettative: Personale inadeguato al servizio richiesto in un posto che espone prezzi da ristorante stellato. Il ns cameriere alle 20.53 ci esortava ad ordinare la seconda portata adducendo che la cucina avrebbe chiuso da lì a poco alle 20.53 !!!!! Io e la mia amica ci siano giustamente guardate credendo di essere su candid camera..... ma di cosa stiamo parlando?? Della tipica accoglienza ligure??? Vorrei rimarcare che ho pagato 18 euro una pasta in bianco spacciata x pasta alle vongole totalmente insapore e con 5 vongole messe in croce x cui il piatto x i gusci è risultato totalmente sprecato x non parlare della salvietta che mi è venuta utile x asciugarmi il sudore al momento del conto. Per finire l amaro che abbiamo ordinato mi è stato magicamente sottratto dal cameriere che probabilmente aveva fretta di terminare il servizio. Questa meravigliosa serata ci è costata la bellezza di 70 euro x 2 piatti di pasta sciapa una bottiglia di vino e 2 amari. Morale : affamate , deluse e rapinate.

Come direbbe Govi arrivederci ma RARAMENTE...
