In passato mi capitò di partecipare quivi alla festa di compleanno di alcune amiche con soddisfazione, e parimenti di consumare in svariate altre circostanze dei buoni mojito. Ma la settimana scorsa, purtroppo, all'ora dell'aperitivo serale, mi è stato servito un fondo di bottiglia di un mediocre vino bianco fermo a 7 €, accompagnato da due patatine per stuzzicare. Ero in compagnia, ed ho fatto finta di nulla, ma è inaccettabile che vengano portati al tavolo due bicchieri del medesimo vino in quantitativo così vistosamente differente (tre dita in meno!): quando le bottiglie finiscono, o se ne apre un'altra, e si rabbocca sino ai tre quarti di calice, e comunque almeno fino ad avere due capacità quantomeno similari, o si comunica che quel vino è terminato, anche se era poi stato richiesto semplicemente un "vino bianco fermo", non è che volessimo chablis o traminer V.Q.P.R.D.! Viceversa se ne può anche aprire ed utilizzare direttamente un'altra, ed il fondigliuolo usarlo per l'arrosto o la zuppa di pesce, evitando così di scontentare ed irritare le persone.
