Guaca Ristorante Messicano — Restaurant in Genoa

We love Mexican food, so naturally, we came here to try some of the staples. We were left perplexed as every single meal didn’t have any sort of Mexican flavours. The nachos had no cheese (I mean, what?), the guac didn’t taste like guac, the burrito was sad and very empty, and the beef didn’t have any cumin in it. The beef was just a ragù, not a chili con carne. The burger was just... well, look at the pictures and video. Nothing we tried resembled Mexican cuisine at all. We’ve tried many Mexican restaurants around the world, and this is by far the worst we’ve had. It’s rare that we leave a 1-star review, but they need to improve and probably hire a chef who has at least tried Mexican food before. Not sure why this restaurant has such good reviews. It’s pretty poor as far as Mexican restaurants go! I’m convinced that most of the good reviews are from people who’ve never had actual Mexican food before.

The fajitas were so bland! There was no seasoning on them. No cumin, no paprika, no coriander, no chilli, no garlic etc. Couldn’t even taste salt and pepper. The fajitas only came with two tiny wraps. There was no guacamole, sour cream, salsa or cheese with this dish. The bell peppers were not that well cooked and were pretty plain too. The fajitas cost 18 euros which is quite expensive for a dish that was so disappointing.

Siamo stati al Guaca Ristorante Messicano in un gruppo di 10 persone nel pomeriggio, e posso dire con assoluta certezza che è stata un'esperienza eccezionale dall'inizio alla fine. Il locale ha un'atmosfera accogliente e vibrante che ti fa subito sentire immerso nella cultura messicana.

Il servizio è stato impeccabile: lo staff era cordiale, attento e sempre pronto a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Nonostante fossimo un gruppo numeroso, hanno gestito tutto con professionalità e velocità, assicurandosi che ogni piatto arrivasse al momento giusto e che non ci mancasse mai nulla.

Il cibo è stato il vero protagonista del pomeriggio. I sapori autentici e gli ingredienti freschi hanno reso ogni piatto una delizia. Dai tacos ai burritos, dal guacamole fresco preparato al tavolo ai nachos croccanti, tutto era cucinato alla perfezione. Le porzioni erano generose e la presentazione dei piatti era curata nei minimi dettagli.

Anche le bevande non sono state da meno: la selezione di bevande analcoliche era ampia e deliziosa, con vari tipi di succhi freschi e bibite tradizionali che hanno aggiunto un tocco speciale alla nostra esperienza.

In conclusione, Guaca Ristorante Messicano è il posto ideale per chi cerca un'autentica esperienza culinaria messicana. Che siate in coppia, con la famiglia o con amici, questo ristorante saprà sicuramente soddisfarvi sotto ogni aspetto. Torneremo...
