Ristorante Gambrinus — Restaurant in Giardini-Naxos

I eat like shit man,i order risotto with frutti di mare,i expect to bring me a fresh creamy risotto but i take a oily rice with boiled shrimps and octopus,i order pizza diavola and the same like riso a oily pizza with a lot of fat because use very cheap quality mozzarela and salami and the pizza dough it s like frozen pizza,overpriced for nothing,the waiter is very slow and don t care anymore about our table...in the last of this horror story they bring a mojito with coffee sugar instead of a sugar syrup..on the bill i see an extra pay for a bottle of water and bread i don t order this..he make me pay 8 euro for this..it s horrible all..the service..the food..when you want to visit sicily-naxos forgot about this shit...

This was so far the most expensive and the worst dinner we have had in Sicily but we were hungry and the restaurants in the surroundings would probably be very similar. The tuna was so well done that it was hard to chew and the quality of the pasta was low, I can cook it better myself at home. We told the service we were not satisfied. We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. Food was honest, food was home cooked and food was very tasty. Prices were honest as well, we paid 100 euros including wine for 5 people. The place is family run, father in the kitchen, son making pizzas, mother and daughter running front of house. We wanted two dishes which were not on the menu, not a problem, for them.. both were served and both were delicious. Would return here again on our next visit to...
