We visited the premise on 30/01/22 at lunch time (13.30).

Bathrooms were dirty and had liquid on the toilet floor.

When we arrived we noticed the tables being excessively closed to each other and the room having no air flow (windows were closed, one air conditioner on the other side of the room, potentially switched off). We asked whether a different table could have been provided to us, possibly farther from others. In my party of four, a person had very fragile health, so we actually cared about catching COVID (how weird!). The owner simply said there was no need to worry and walked away.

The waitress came to order. We communicated to her that we were not ready to order yet as we had been there for 3 minutes. She asked us to order quickly anyway because they were very busy. We ordered our meal.

The first dish was an entrée to share for two of the people with me (TAGLIERE DEI MONTI LATTARI PER DUE PERSONE). It was very poor given the price: it included two thin slices of 2 meat cuts, one thin slice of cheese, one 3x2cm cube of polenta, half a little scamorza cheese, one fried ball, a few leaves of rocket salad, 2 bocconcini mozzarelle, 2 thin slices of salami. Given that it was explicitly a dish for 2, the fact that it did not include at least two pieces of each piece was quite rude. The wine (the local red) was terrible, none of us liked it and we left it.

While eating this, the room soon got overtly crowded, chairs were added and people started waiting in line. We kindly communicated to the owner that we could not stay there any longer, that we would have paid for what we had on the table and to cancel the next order. Before we even finished the entreé, the waiter took the dishes away from us. I was still eating and I asked him to leave my plate but he kept walking away.

We stood up and went to pay. We waited 10 minutes before the owner came for us, in which time he had been talking with customers. Two families and two couples were waiting to be seated, in the meantime.

The final price was €34: €6 for the wine €2 for water €8 for the service (?) €18 for the entrée (we made the owner notice that it was a €15 dish, but he insisted in making us pay €18)

One of the couple waiting witnessed the scene, checked the room and walked away. One new customer waiting also witnessed the scene and exited the restaurant after realising how rude they were.

The owner also told us not to bother adding reviews online and he deleted our booking via The Fork after a few hours to avoid us reviewing the restaurant there.

Siamo stati qui qualche settimana fa con un Groupon devo dire sfortunati credo sia noi che i poveri camerieri perché abbiamo beccato la serata peggiore in assoluto rispetto al tempo atmosferico non pioveva solamente ma c'era praticamente una bufera in atto quindi poverini credo che anche loro aspettassero più gente invece il locale era vuoto questo in effetti ci ha intristiti un po' perche eravamo da soli!! credo che sicuramente quando i tempi sono migliori il locale sia pienissimo. L'antipasto è stato ottimo le polpette della nonna le ho divorate i salumi anche erano ottimi e poi gli antipasti caldi di fagioli e salsiccia erano veramente divini il mio compagno va pazzo per i fagioli con la cotica. Anche il vino perfetto si sentiva che era casereccio. Ho mangiato la genovese che ho digerito benissimo quindi vuol dire che era fatta proprio bene... Per quanto riguarda i secondi io purtroppo ho avuto una tagliata che era secchissima e il mio compagno ha preso un braciata mista che era ottima quindi credo che la carne sia veramente buona in effetti penso sia stato un caso per quella tagliata per cui ho dovuto chiedere sia olio che sale ma era proprio secca da morire l'ho dovuta lasciare quasi tutta, la fetta di maiale e la salsiccia del mio compagno erano sublimi.... Abbiamo deciso di voler tornare perché siamo convinti di essere stati proprio sfortunati, siamo curiosi di assaggiare altri piatti. Unica pecca in assoluto è che sentivo una puzza di carne cruda incredibile capisco che sia una macelleria e non un ristorante però sentire questo cattivo odore nella sala non è bellissimo. immagino che anche questo sia stato un caso perché non ho letto nessuna recensione a riguardo e tra l'altro il mio compagno non lo sentiva così forte. Comunque ci torneremo sicuramente vorrei assaggiare altri primi e vorrei godermi una bella fetta di carne.complimenti per la...

Eccellente! Solo questo aggettivo può descrivere il locale, le pietanze ed il personale. Parto con il dire che siamo stati loro ospite a mezzo di un deal reperito online, pagando poco meno di 15euro a testa (grazie ad un'offerta). Per la quantità delle portate, il servizio, la qualità del cibo, la cortesia del personale se avessero anche chiesto 25€/testa sarebbe stato ok. In molti locali si paga di più e non si ha neanche la metà della qualità, quantità e servizio. Sono velocissimi nelle portate. È tutto genuino, saporito e ben servito. Vorrei soffermarmi anche sul vino! Davvero saporito, dolce, corposo e frizzantino. Altro che quel vino economico che ti servono nei locali! Il personale è talmente cortese e disponibile che per le portate avanzate (eravamo davvero sazi) ci hanno portato, su richiesta, le vaschette in alluminio con le quali portare i piatti avanzati. Non solo... Ma quando hanno "travasato" il piatto nelle vaschetta, essendo piena la metà, ce l'hanno riempita all'orlo di loro spontanea volontà (e gratuitamente). Il deal acquistato prevedeva una bottiglia di vino ogni due persone. Eravamo 4 e ne abbiamo presa una sola (solo due di noi bevevano). Senza che nessuno abbia chiesto, a fine pasto ci hanno portato la bottiglia non richiesta in una busta per farcela portare a casa lo stesso come omaggio. Le carni vendute e servite, sono eccellenti. Il pane era freschissimo! Altra nota positiva, sono i coltelli che forniscono per tagliare le portate di carne. Finalmente qualcuno che abbia capito che i coltelli classici da ristorante non sono adatti a tagliare queste portate. Ci hanno offerto anche l'amaro. Tutto pulito, nuovo e ben tenuto. Torneremo ogni volta che...
