We tried this restaurant on recommendation and were more than disappointed. We ordered 2 courses each. As a starter 1 antipasti with salami and ham, in which one you can not do much wrong if the quality of the ingredients is right, and once pasta. The antipasti were ok, the pasta with hot peppers and ham were terrible. Bland, tasteless, without any refinement. After complaining about this dish, we were recommended by the waitress to make a homemade pasta with tomatoes "from her local garden" that would "knock us out", which we chose then. As it turned out, this was an even worse decision. Stone hard, unsalted pasta with a few tomatoes - nothing more. No Salt, no Garlic, no herbs. Absolutely bland, loveless thrown on the plate. After that we cancelled the main courses and after arround 10 minutes discussion with the owner, whats the matter about it and how the cook should cook (wtf!) wie left the Restaurant. Gragnano - The European Capital of Pasta - However, you can not taste it at all here. Save your money and go...

In Gragnano, Italy there is this small place built with the heart of a family. The oldest pasta factory dating since 1820, run by the same family, with the same art of the Seminole. Still they proud themselves by saying that even on the 1600 their family were already on the macaroni production. The pasta itself is simple, based on Seminole brought from Bari, Puglia. The cooking is from the heart with different amazing tastes. There is no ostentatious presentations, just pasta in its added sauce. But what a taste! Prepare your taste buds to the best of the real Italian way. Eat slow, relax, and enjoy one of the best there are. I encourage you to visit this winner of the Oscar 2023 for the best artisanal pasta factory. And if you feel intrepid, get a cooking class as I did. Nona Enza will teach...

Marvelous idea for a tasty and delicious tomato salad - I truly enjoyed it. I will not reveal the chef's idea here... It took me a short while to figure it out. The pasta was superb, loaded with tasty filling, pennone - Wow. So nice to have it with all that heritage and history around there, we saw the museum and loved to know about that unique place. Such a splendid lunch for us!
