Rodrigo Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Griante

The terrace is on front of a main street full of cars and at the other side is the lake, i haven't seen the in side of the restaurant. The services was absolutely horrible, they make us feels like we were doing something wrong with try to eat there, he ignore us since we came in, even when we said "hi" and finally when he came to the table also was very rude and despicable at the moment tha I've tried to ask for water for my dog. Everyone was so hungry that anyways they order, but I didn't wanted to eat in that place after all...very bad experiences, its supposed I am in holidays but its coming this. I tried the pizza of my husband and was just regular and expensive, I check the reviews from before and they were good, but really old ones, something happened in that place that damaged the quality .... maybe they should try to make it better again, starting with a good hospitality, if under them considerations the priority is not please to the guests, or they think than they are too much busy for even say hi( with only 2 tables of 2) I'm sure than they can approach and say how busy is at the moment with a few words explaining than they'll come soon as possible, that would be just enough for make a big difference in the first impression of the guests and the impact than this could provide, nobody of us were looking for jump other people or in a hurry to order, but how I said...just feeling welcome instead to desagradable to the host...complety not recommended. Overpriced, rubbish food, rude staff.

€4.50 for a small can of “Fanta” (it wasn’t Fanta). No starter was less that €10, all around the 10-15 mark. Pasta around €15 which could have been reasonable if it was good. It was not. I had carbonara which the sauce seemed like scrambled eggs. My partner had spaghetti bolognese which left a big puddle of water on his plate. No Parmesan was offered either.

After receiving the bill we waited for the waitress to bring over the card machine which we had seen her do for multiple others. After waiting she finally comes over with it and angrily says we should of just gone up to the bar to pay because she is busy with customers … which I’m not sure she realised we are also customers.

Left the restaurant unhappy with food, prices and service. Will...

We had a fantastic Lake Como trip the summer of 2024! One of the great finds was the Rodrigo Ristorante Pizzeria. Our youngest daughter has celiac, so finding places that have both gluten free options and take precautions to not cross-contaminate can be difficult. She enjoyed pasta one night and pizza another night, and the owner took photos to show the pizza in a separate pan. He was amazing and really cared about our daughter to make sure everything was done right. All the food was great and the service was outstanding! Please stop by if you're near the Grand...
