What great view, location and terrace garden feeling, unfortunately the staff struggle to maintain the same level of excellence that surrounds them. We ordered 4 meals and drinks, 1 pasta dish magically came within 3 minutes the pizza (which was fresh) accompanied by a quickly warmed up lasagne came five minutes later but unfortunately the last dish came when we had already finished.
As the portions are very modest for the price prompted us to ask for bread, however we were served old stale bread that was so dry that one could hardly eat it. One advantage though was that we had time while the last person eat to order another pizza so we could share this to help supplement the main portions, this we had to start to eat with our fingers as the staff where too busy smoking in the restaurant to supply us with cutlery.
On a neighbouring table a lady had to send their food back as it was stone cold, but received the same plate back a few minutes later after the whole plate was magically warmed in the kitchen. For the class/price range where the restaurant was trying to aim it is an absolutely appauling quality.
In comparison to the other restaurants in the area that serve fantastic fresh food and the wine of much greater quality at half the price, we cannot recommend this restaurant other than for the views.
One highlight was that the local ducks really enjoyed all the food that could not be eat being thrown in...
Read moreMediocre food, appalling service, a bit pricey and probably microwaved - just go to Bar Company up the road for a much better version.
Ended up here because other restaurants we’d tried were closed that night and after a long day out didn’t fancy walking down to tremezzo.
When asked if we were ready to order (first time) clarified a few things on the menu and ask for a couple of extra minutes. The waitress responded… I am tired and the kitchen closes soon (no one had mentioned this when we were seated).
Food was mediocre. They turned out a lasagne and risotto in ten minutes (which I can only assume therefore was microwaved). Overpriced for what it was.
No one checked on us or our food. When it came to the bill I said the service was disappointing and was told instead how many tips the waitress had made that day.
Just rude really.
Go to Bar Company up the road. Staff were friendly, had twice as much food for the same amount of money, tasted better and and it’s all made from scratch they say. Try the homemade dessert. I’m off to give...

During our visit, despite the bar being nearly empty, we were shown to a corner table with no view of the water. When we politely declined, we were once again denied the option to sit at the bar's edge, where the view was clearly better. After such disrespectful treatment, my family decided to leave the bar.
I stayed behind, but the aggressive, tattooed bartender still wouldn’t leave me alone and insisted I move. As my day had already been spoiled, I chose to stay in the seat I had selected on principle.
I ordered a daiquiri cocktail, which I have no complaints about. However, the black coffee I ordered afterward was served in a dirty glass cup, and its taste reminded me of synthetic gas station coffee from Eastern Europe in the 1990s.
Despite leaving the coffee untouched, none of the bored bartenders bothered to ask if something was wrong. The overall service came across as completely...
