Chalet Pizzaccia On The Beach Di Macor M. & C. S.N.C — Restaurant in Grottammare

We went for pizza based on recommendation but it was honestly one of the rudest and worst hospitality experiences I've had anywhere in the world - and I work in the industry.

Pre-booked for 7.30pm with young children and staff were still setting up. Ok but if you have customers act like they're there! We had a sea view table and asked for one slightly closer to the sea as the place was completely empty. Lots of tutting and frowning and we were moved, then completely ignored for 10 minutes. Having asked for menu at least, it was literally thrown onto the corner of the table without a glance. Then we were ignored again. In the end we left without ordering anything as the staff's contempt was obvious. Again they didn't even blink, let alone apologise.

The most charitable explanation is they were only interested in setting up and didn't care to lose customers as they would be busy later. More honestly it just felt like they hated tourists/English people, were inexperienced and rude, or hated their...

We went to the beachclub today and got a sunbed with 2 small children. A very rude man came up to us and sad that we had to leave. We did not understand and told them that we want to pay for the sunbed and we are customers, would like to drink something, get ice cream for the children etc. but he simply kicked us out. I am 37 and never got kicked out anywhere in my life so i asked him what we did wrong since we are from The Netherlands but he simply raised his voice and said leave, go. He humiliated us infront of everyone. Worst experience on the beach in our life. Do not go to this place, they do not respect their customers. This is the complete opposite of the Italian hospitality...

The service is terrible; almost no one speaks English. When we sat down at a table and someone tried to take an order, a girl came over and announced that the table was for other guests and there were no free tables at all, even though the restaurant was almost empty.
