Alex pub — Restaurant in Iglesias

We went here for dinner in mid of August as we needed a place that could serve gluten free products and also have different options. Keep in mind this is a pub, an Irish pub; for being a pub it has a big variety of dishes, most of them are all fresh including sea food and fish as well as pizzas ad meat. Craft beers are very good. The place is very spacious and welcoming. The stuff are super super nice and would help you out with any sort of request. A good place also for families.

Contando che la pizza non era nemmeno tanto male e che di Pub Irlandese non ha nulla (andatevi a vedere cosa sia realmente un pub!) siamo rimasti contrariati dal fatto di essere stati messi in un tavolino vicino al retro del locale (nonostante avessi prenotato il giorno prima!) e attaccati ad altri tavoli! Ok che hanno allentato le norme Covid ma sinceramente mi è sembrato di stare in una tavolata con altre persone per quanto eravamo vicini! I bicchieri, che per fortuna non abbiamo usato perché abbiamo preso le birre, avevano il fondo oleoso esternamente e una delle confezioni di carta contenenti le posate aveva una macchia di olio arrivata lì chissà come! Alla richiesta di sostituirla, il titolare è sembrato pure meravigliato alla mia richiesta, come se stessi domandando chissà quale cosa assurda! La cosa più bella è che l'ha messa in un altro tavolo, sostituendola con quella che ha dato a me!!😅 In più il caldo pazzesco da sentirsi male, il cibo arrivato dopo quasi 40 minuti di attesa, il chiasso e la ciliegina sulla torta è stata il cameriere che, venuto a ritirare i piatti, ha preso il mio e poi, anziché allungarsi per prendere quello del tipo con cui ero, gli ha fatto un cenno con la mano (da vero gaggio!) per dirgli di passarglielo!
