The restaurant is in a beautiful location with a nice view of the harbour in impera. You can sit outside, the waitress speaks English very well and can help you with vine recommendations as well. We shared the Tappa's (8€) pesto Genovese/olive/anchovies/salami-very good, my GF had the Ravioli from the today card (15€) also very tasty, I had the spaghetti frutti Di mare scoglio(18€) and they came with lots and lots of mussels(common & vongole/venus) 1 big prawn and 1 langostino. Needless to say we were pleased to get such a great dinner, the price was really fair. I would give more stars if it would be possible.

Mi sono trovato per lavoro a Imperia e navigando nel web ho trovato questo ristorante. Tavoli apparecchiati con tovaglia e tovaglioli in stoffa, tavolino un po' piccolo per metterci tre persone ma va be'. Locale pulito intimo piccolino tutto sommato bellino. Bagno pulito. Una pecca è il solito posto vicino alla porta d'entrata che essendo in inverno non tutti i commensali la chiudevano bene. La cameriera impreparata a ogni domanda, diceva ma c'è scritto sul menù? Anche per la scelta dei vini sembrava che io dovessi conoscere tutte le cantine e i vini d'Italia. Comunque alla fine ho scelto una grigliata di pesce e un fritto di calamari che ho diviso con il mio collega. Le porzioni sono da ristorante quindi non abbondantissime ma va bene. Alla richiesta dell' olio e del sale per condire la mia grigliata mi sono dovuto alzare io cercare la cameriera e poi scusandosi per non averli portati li voleva portare assolutamente lei al tavolo. Comunque sia la griglia che il fritto buoni. Il mio collega ha preso i gnocchi in bianco con calamari e per i gnocchi non bene molto stopposi. Lista dei vini divisa per regione bene anche se come detto prima non era in grado di consigliarmi. Non so se ci tornerò comunque quello che ho scelto io era buono

Very good and tasteful food with a modern twist. We ate outside and the atmosphere was excellent. As there are only a few tables it is quite and intimate. I have ordered gnocchi and the hot seafood salad, both excellent. As dessert we tried the chocolate pudding and vanilla cremino both superb. Prices are reasonable. I really recommend this restaurant.

Such a wonderful family restaurant, run by a very kind family, and we just had a very nice table, enjoyed honest and very tasteful food, and we simply had a very lovely evening. The bruschetta to start with, loved it, and then a delicious spaghetti con aglio, olio, polini e peperoncini. We didn't know this part of Imperia, it was a surprise ending up here. And then this cosy restaurant among al those big crowded terrasses around it, is a nice and very relaxing place where the food is good and you feel...

Pane e Vino is a very honest kitchen place. If you're interested in a place which is serving very traditional Italian food you'll be lucky to get there. Pane e Vino offers a piece of old-school Italian cuisine that leaves you with the feeling: it is made by Nonna. The food is simple but classic, the ingredients are very fresh and have a high quality but there is no show to the food. The food comes in simple plates, simple sizes and with very few spices.
