I ordered the lasagne. And it was pretty mid. There were clumps of meat, rather than a consistent layer. The bottom layer of pasta was really tough, I struggled to cut through it and eventually just gave up and ate around it. The lasagne was missing flavour, chewing felt like a chore.

Even the complimentary bread they give before your food was tough. It was hard and I was practically gnawing it off, and it looked and tasted store bought. Cheap is the word that comes to mind.

My friend had the pesto penne pasta. She said it was alright, I tried it myself and it tasted quite plain and one-dimensional. Doesn’t stand out. Mid.

I ordered coke as well. The first cup came from the tap I think. It tasted very flat, barely any bubbles and just didn’t taste like the Coca Cola I know. After the first sip, it tastes like water. Had to order a bottle of coke from the fridge and it was more fizzy but couldn’t make up for the off-putting experience of the first cup of coke. It’s a minor thing but when you get your drinks served first and it’s very sip/bite someone has, it just leaves a bad taste and suddenly I stopped being excited for my meal.

The service was decent.

One of the waitress, an older lady, stopped by my table, looked at my half eaten lasagne and gave me a disappointed look which felt quite personal and judgemental. I was confused at first what she wanted so I eventually told her we’re not finished and she left. But truth be told, I couldn’t stomach another bite of my bland, plain tasting food.

I’m giving the food one star because the portion size was decent in relation to the price I paid. My lasagne was €9,50.

Perhaps I got a bad batch or they were having an off day or I should have ordered something else. Regardless, judging by the size of their menu, I think it’s possible they’ve stretched themselves too thin...

Attirati dal nome e dalle proposte del menù abbiamo deciso di cenare in questo posto. Ambiente molto carino, peccato per il casino tra musica alta e ovviamente vociare di persone che cercavano di contrastare il volume della musica. I prezzi delle portate sono leggermente alti e visto che sono specializzati in cucina di pesce, pensiamo che comunque ne valga la pena, se si mangia bene qualcosa in più siamo disposti a spenderlo. Una volta al tavolo scopriamo che un'acqua ha il prezzo di 3€ e il coperto 2,60€, ma siamo fuori? Siamo rimasti al tavolo solo perché avevamo il piccolo che aveva fame e necessitava cenare, altrimenti ci saremmo alzati. Abbiamo ordinato per il piccolo il menù con pasta al pomodoro e un'acqua (l'alternativa era la bibita). Per noi abbiamo scelto un fritto misto e due bibite alla spina medie (visto che costavano poco più dell'acqua forse era più conveniente così). Niente da dire sul menù bambino, a parte l'acqua che è arrivata in un bicchiere... neanche chi ha l'impianto per microfiltrarla si permette di servire l'acqua in un bicchiere. La cameriera che ci ha servito da bere la prima volta si è sbagliata e a momenti dava la colpa a noi, una contessa! Ma arriviamo al fritto... apparentemente era splendido anche se la quantità discutibile... Ma cosa peggiore, il fritto unto e pesante, ho fatto fatica a digerirlo e dire che digerisco anche i sassi, inoltre in superficie c'erano i pezzi più belli, sotto sembrava ci fossero gli scarti della portata, piccoli pezzi di pastella, teste di gambero e code di pesci fritte. Di dubbia freschezza il pesce, il sapore non mi dava l'idea di fresco, aggiungiamoci che ho passato la notte con la pancia in mano al bagno perché ho rimesso tutto! Dulcis in fundo, alla cassa prima mi fanno pagare, poi mi chiedono se è andata bene, alla mia risposta negativa con dovute spiegazioni, solo un: "eh... mi spiace, buona serata!" Non ho dato una stella perché la maggior parte delle cameriere sono state molto gentili e cordiali. Ma per me questo posto può chiudere! È tutta una truffa attira clienti, poco più avanti c'è di...

Place looks nice but spag carbonara was so-so, the spag w/ clams was nothing special. We waited for about 15minutes for our bill to pay, the black waitress didn‘t bring it. We told a 2nd waitress & she told the black waitress but she ignored it. We called a 3rd waitress, explained we were waiting for already 15min for the bill, she came back immediately w/ the bill. After waiting for 2minutes for someone to take our payment we decided to go directly to the cashier, paid in cash. Usually we give a nice tip but not this time.
