Tengo Cuore Italiano — Restaurant in Jesolo

Went there for 2 pizzas to-go and a quick beer, while all the other restaurants were packed to the brim ... Almost turned away due to "bad" reviews, but I must say: I was suprised - in a GOOD way (*Disclaimer: I can only comment the pizza & staff & ambient). So here are my 2 cents ... Pizza: thin crust (yes, Italy is not Boston deep-dish people ...), nice bottom-char, good quality of crude ham-prosciutto (San Daniele) and tuna, nice take-away box and already sliced in 4 parts. Staff: The owner/manager brought me the beer& pizza, very cordial and professional, other as well: we spoke a mix of English and Italian, since my Italian is kind of "mezzo mezzo" ; ). Prices: normal for the pizza, drinks also (its Lido in high season, not Zimbabwe ... lowest quality fast food pizza will cost you 8-9 EUR - paying 20% more for this level of quality: I can live with that ...). Ambinet: very clean, calm music and not too crowded with tables. Summa summarum: Keep up the good...

Beautiful in appearance this restaurant is decent. I didn’t notice any customers crying. Neither did we. Pizza came to my table without being cut. They took it away and did so when I asked. Got the tough sell for a few seconds on bottled Prosecco but they happily got the bulk option for me for half the price when I refused. Pizza crust a bit burnt. Nothing much on the pizza… basically a glorified margarita. Wife’s seafood was good looking… but she expected fish not shellfish. Kids meal was edible according to toddler. They happily stowed the stroller out the back

Overall it was decent and decor is lovely, food was fast. Kids got a bonus lollipop after dinner. 5 stars from her

After protests from the wife rating was changed to 4 stars as the waiters were so good with the kid

Made her a paper origami boat out of the placemat, extra lollipop etc

I mean these...

Carbonara had no cheese, Lasagna had chunks of cheese, wrong meal given, forgot water glasses and beer, lied about the dishes coming when we said two were still to come! Fish was undercooked so had to be sent back. Everyone had finished by the time the last dish came out which was horrible and rushed. Dont come here, service is horrible as well, slamming glasses down and walking straight off so couldnt ask for anything else. Was extremely rude when asked where the last dish was. No apology given and we were extremely nice...
