Ristorante Pizzeria Sergent Pepper's La Maddalena — Restaurant in La Maddalena

We asked for a table for 6 and they put us on a waiting list telling us we would get a text message when the table was ready and it would take less than 45 mins. It took longer. We ordered 6 pizzas and it took forever to get them, we were waiting for SO long. When the pizzas finally arrived, they forgot one. They apologized and told us it would be there soon, but we ended up waiting again to the point that we all started eating except one person. Pizza was not good, it was very very chewy and wet, everything was sliding off. Some people got vegetarian pizza with zucchini and peppers. Zucchini were raw, not cooked at all, peppers were the ones from the can. We understand it's summer and it's very busy, but they shouldn't be taking so many people if they can't provide...

Very unordinary. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here again, but on the other hand I certainly wouldn't avoid it in the future. It's a very average place with very average pizza and very average costs. The only thing that I ordered which was expensive and really left me unimpressed was the Nutella pizza - which consisted of plain (cooked of course) pizza dough, and then Nutella slathered on top. Otherwise the staff was friendly, the pizza was made quickly and while it wasn't anything special, it certainly wasn't bad.

If you're a tourist, I would recommend other places to go have a good pizza while you're in La Maddalena, and if you live here well, then I guess you aleady know where...

I would have rated this place -1 star. We had a great dinner here and then we ordered pizza to takeaway. We waited for 20 minutes and the rest 30 minutes we only had waitresses asking which exactly pizza did we order (although explicitly said). They were asking whether we want pescatoria or boscaiola like 20 times, we replied we already had pescatoria and now we really want boscaiola and we were hurrying for a ferry. We spent 30 min explaining what we want and the left for a ferry because this was the last one. Of course we Didn’t receive pizza for takeaway although we paid for it....
