Seriously what is not to like! From getting to Maison Blanche restaurant in a snowcat to the amazing food and stunning interior. One of the best meals and locations in La Thuile. Georgio and the staff are fabulous a truly special experience. Food was hot, fresh and seriously tasty. We had set evening meal. Started with Prosecco on arrival. Raclette with local cheeses, cold cuts and veggies. This was followed by porcini mushroom soup or onion soup. Then we had the most amazing rabbit stew, beef casserole and polenta. I chose tiramisu for dessert there were other delicious options. Finished with coffee and a digestive of limoncello. Will definitely...

Finalmente una cena in baita dove mangiare come in un ristorante alla carta. La vista, l’atmosfera e l’ambiente sono stupendi... ricordo lo stesso ristorante 15 anni fa o forse più, prima che chiudesse, una piacevole sorpresa ritornarci e avere avuto il piacere di mangiare così bene. Da segnalare ai non mangiatori di carne, un validissimo menu vegetariano equivalente al menu classico ma con varianti ad hoc. Veramente complimenti per questo, non è mai stato così facile avere un’alternativa non banale alle pietanze con carne. Ottima la carta dei vini, di tutte le qualità e per tutte le tasche a partire da un vino della casa a 12€/litro! Unica nota stonata la rapidità con cui vengono portate le portate, avrei gradito più calma e serenità nel mangiare visto che i piatti sono molti e serve il giusto tempo per gustare lentamente e singolarmente ogni piatto oltre che per digerire senza sentirsi pieni come un fagotto. In un posto del genere per quello che mangi, per l’atmosfera e per quello che paghi mi aspetterei che tutto venisse dilazionato nel tempo come se la serata quasi non dovesse finire invece alla fine sembrava avessero fretta di farci andare perché ovviamente le motoslitte hanno degli orari stabiliti. Scelta consigliata... tornare in paese a piedi. Bellissima esperienza e buon cibo. Grazie!...

We did evening set meal. Transport up the mountain was in tracked vehicle - novel - and prosecco on the balcony on arrival a really nice experience. Meal started off great but ruined by semi warm food and poor quality/untasty game stew dishes at end. Suspect they cooked everything off site and transported up the mountain. Staff were friendly and attentive but overall very poor value for money...
