If the local tourist office is closed (as it was when I went there), here you'll get an accurate information about the territory, snow-sports, hiking paths, nature, culture & history of La Valle. There are books and games for children in the welcoming restaurant and the kitchen of chef Mauro is simply excellent: short menu greatly balances nutritional ingredients a person needs in a meal, with preference for local products (fontina, salmon trout, home-made beef-toungue, pastries, a lot of vegetables...),all dishes we've tried were prepared and presented with great skills. Beautiful well kept rooms with everything needed to make your stay as lovely as possible. We stay half board, breakfast is just what you need for a day on the slopes, pastries, breads, yogurts, cereals, bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, the list goes on! The evening meal consists of a choice of two starters and two main courses with a dessert to finish, couldn't ask for more really.
