Wonderful experience - Probably the best meal I had in Calabria (besides the dishes from my nonni...). We had the seven course tasting menu. Fine dining at its best; it starts with the stylish interior design, then the food is executed perfectly creating a balance reinterpreting traditional Calabrian dishes with the means of modern cuisine. And you can feel that chef Luigi Lepore and his team are very passionate in bringing haute cuisine to Nicastro. The chef took the time to speak to all guests after dinner and you could tell that he truly valued their feedback.

Update July 2024: Been there again, and had an even better experience ❤️ Every dish is well thought trough and represents particular aspects of Calabria in an extremly pleasant and stylish way. On top of that the focaccia and bread are divine and would deserve a place of their own. A MUST GO place, when in the region - it's an unique Calabrian experience and an exceptional price - quality and taste...

I was and still am speechless about the surreal experience I had at Luigi’s yesterday. To begin with, we were welcomed by the nicest hostess who made us feel comfortable and right at home. Still on the good service matter, Luigi himself was very kind to us, answering all of our questions and even presenting to us the kitchen and all his team. Now about the food: I experienced tastes that were so far from whatever I have ever tasted before. Everything was so fresh, with a lot of layers and surprises. I am no food critic and also not very good with words so whatever I could say here wouldn’t even come close to the wonderful experience we had. I totally recommend anyone to try it. It’s something everyone should experience at least once...

this place massively exceeded our expectations! The fantasy and creativity for the plates is outstanding and right now it's possible to find what should be a 3 star quality at a bargain. I was 'surprised' by most of the dishes and cannot think of a favourite. I'm talking about just the food, however, the house proposed wines were excellent. Didn't have a proper look at the wine list but it seemed comprehensive. The ambience is OK, the people super professional and welcoming. Will go back, it deserves...
