Let’s say, if you want a real experience of dining in with Italian people - come here. I don’t think we have been to more traditional place than this in Italy. I think the downside was that we visited it on Sunday where during the lunchtime as for two people you can order very limited number of dishes. In our case it was like 5 of them. Pizza wasn’t available at all, only two kinds of pastas and three kind of meats. If you are coming as a bigger group, I believe you would be able to choose from more options. Whether it’s fair or not is another matter. As a note is that people there barely spoke English, probably only one man that was serving us actually did. We were given a big bag of bread at the beginning which was pretty good apart from the fact that it had very burned crust. Pasta as for me was very regular seafood pasta with tomato sauce. And we also had steak with cheese and tomatoes which was absolutely weird combination of not combinable things. The lemon cake also wasn’t our favourite as it was combination of some cold lemon curd inside and warm sponge coating it with lots of cream on the side. Also we waited for coffee for at least 15 minutes. So if that wouldn’t be one of the only opened at that time places, I wouldn’t ever spend time staying there.

Absolutely stunning! This was hands down the best setting/ambience for dining i could have imagined. Sitting in the garden filled with history and stonework on different levels and certainly loved by locals. Not saying it's the magical place, but for me this is the single restaurant i want to come back for "interior" or setting alone. Food was amazing also. Ordered selection of starters from earth and sea (all great), mixed from grill and my favourite grilled prawns toast. wow! one thing we did not try but certainly are coming back for - pizza :) Make sure to make a booking in advance...

This place was yuuuuum!! Aside from it being beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely. We were a group of 8 and ordered a bunch of appetizers, a couple of mains to share and an abundance of wine. The service was really clear and knew exactly what we wanted. The food was high quality and delicious! Steak was cooked perfect! This felt like a real southern Italian dining experience. Considering all the delicious food we ate and wine we drank it wasn't expensive! I plan on...
