Al Paradise — Restaurant in Lazise

We had terrible experience there. Went there with 3 persons. Wanted to order drinks for everyone and food for one person. Waiter was really nice , took our order and went to put in our order. Our youngest family member started to eat one pack of crackers which are on table. Owner rushed to us with really bad attitude and started to make scene because we did not order more food and ate this one pack of crackers. I told we can pay for this pack if it is necessary but two other persons ate before and we do not want to eat more. She did not accept it and walked away. Waiter apologize and said he can not to anything, that's how...

I ordered the pizza rustica in expectation of a decent italian pizza. Shortly after the lrder the pizza arrived at my table, looking like a good pizza but when i grabbed the first peace it felt more like a wet cracker. The pizza tasted less than decent and when I asked the waiter to pay with card the waiter made an annoyed comment. Not again for me tehre are better...

Hervorragende Küche in authentischem Ambiente. Ein echtes Juwel im Tourismusrummel. Wir lieben es dort seid Jahren. Und vor allem hält sich der hohe Standard seit Jahrzehnten. Nicht, was man irgendwo anders erwarten darf. Und das bei einem unglaublich guten Preis/Leistung Verhältnis. Ich finde dieses Lokal so überdurchschnittlich, dass ich nicht vermag es angemessen in Worte zu kleiden.

Und dies scheint angesichts der ungerecht niedrigen durchschnittlichen Bewertungen hier noch notwendig: Unser Eindruck ist, dass man freundlich behandelt wird, wenn man sich rücksichtsvoll benimmt. Dass man in Speiselokalen nicht erwünscht ist, wenn man nur etwas trinken will, ist in Italien absolut üblich und kein Grund, das Lokal zu diskreditieren. Man hat den Eindruck, dass hier viele Menschen kritisch sich äußern, die von italienischer Küche und Gastronomie nur in der Pizzeria nebenan in Deutschland eine Erwartung mitbringen?

Es freut uns jedenfalls extrem, dass der Umsatz dieses Kleinods unter der Borniertheit nicht leidet und es uns hoffentlich noch lange erhalten...
