Food ranged from ok to poor. Some vegetarian options. We waited quite a while for the food to come out but it was busy. They forgot two of our meals, the house salads. Several glasses were dirty. My mother ordered the fried fish which turned out to be a plate of deep fried seafood with more batter than actual fish and was very overdone. She really didn't enjoy it and said there was hardly any fish. We told one of the waitresses but they did nothing about it. Everyone else's food was ok but the house salads, named after the restaurant, were 70% iceberg lettuce and completely unseasoned/ no dressing. Was like eating directly out of the salad section of your fridge. The price is not bad for the location but I would not recommend this place; my sister and her partner ate at another restaurant on the same square and said the food was far better. My overall impression was that the food was rushed. The service was generally good; we had about 5 different waiters throughout the meal. Given that glasses were dirty and meals forgotten about through I think they were a bit...
Read moreI ordered the Cottoleta alla Milanese / “Wiener” Schnitzel / veal chops (veal as said literally in the menu in English), and I got chicken. When I complained they began throwing silly excuses about the meaning of Wiener (debatable..) and veal (!!!). To be fair they did offer me to change (I didn’t because I was hungry) and then gave me a free limoncello, but I don’t tolerate the lie and the attitude of trying to trick me into what veal means or wiener schnitzel means. Then they laughed at me and treated me like crazy. It’s incredible with all the German tourists they get. Btw the chicken schnitzel was dry and hard anyway, I should have changed it. We both left...
