Ristorante Pesce di Mare Le Ancore della Bastia — Restaurant in Lazise

As tradition has it, my family and I wanted to select the perfect place for our new Years celebration. We are very difficult to please. From the service, to the environment to the exquisite food, to the wine; we were completely blown away. The food was sumptuous, complete with Vegetarian alternatives for my mother, and the very best of every type of seafood and meats imaginable. Their selection of wines are for all palates and all budgets. Their deserts were heavenly and sinful...all complete with a beautiful decor and the most agreeable staff. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is a true food lover. We will be sure to return! Thank you La Ancora...

Siamo arrivati oggi a Lazise, è l'ora di pranzo e stiamo cercando un posto dove poter mangiare pesce fresco. Faccio una ricerca su TripAdvisor per farmi un'idea, i primi ristoranti che compaiono a dire la verità non mi convincono, lavorando in questo settore ho imparato a diffidare dai locali più "turistici", che vivono di rendita per la loro posizione privilegiata, in questo caso con vista lago, ma che offrono menù di qualità discutibile; certo il panorama è fantastico ma noi vogliamo un buon pasto. Decido quindi di fare un'ulteriore ricerca su Google, e tra i primi tre ne scorgo uno che attira la mia attenzione, LE ANCORE DELLA BASTIA, apro le foto e leggo le recensioni, entrambe invitanti, decidiamo quindi di andare lì. Si è fatto tardi sono quasi le 15, ma il ragazzo in sala ci accoglie con gentilezza, ordiniamo il tris di antipasti, paccheri all'astice e grigliata mix di pesce con verdure grigliate. Con nostra grande soddisfazione il pesce è freschissimo, gli scampi dolcissimi, la seppiolina ed il polpo sono tenerissimi (cosa rara da trovare), noto con piacere che lo chef esce personalmente per cogliere le erbette aromatiche, il cameriere è attento ad ogni nostra esigenza ed il proprietario è un ottimo padrone di casa. Andiamo via molto soddisfatti, non è fronte lago...ma poco importa perché la qualità della materia prima è alta ed il prezzo giusto. Con tutti questi master chef che si trovano in giro, questo posto spicca per la sua genuinità, perché a mio avviso, quando la materia prima è notevole, non ha bisogno di tante lavorazioni e tanti "fronzoli". Fantastic calamari Good wine. But it ends here. Ordered the beef fillet. This old cow must have died in severe torments. Totally inedible Talked to the waiter who shook his shoulders, like "bad luck" and walked away. I'm actually writing at the table now. Its near closing time. Staff cleared my table not even finished eating. AVOID THE MEAT HERE!! But on the check, they took away the meat after talking to an other waiter. So I upgrade one more star. Nice!...
