Osteria Sul Granar — Restaurant in Lazise

The best restaurant in Lasise! Service was fast, all waiters and the owner are very kind and helpful. My husband dropped his fork and in a second a waiter was offering us a new one. The food was delicious. Their specialty is meat and it was fantastic. I also took some cooked vegetables and it was very good. For the desert we took a cheesecake with pistachio and it was just harmony of taste (not too sweet as most places do). I live in Italy for 10 years, and travel all the time to different towns and can definitely say that it was one of the best osteria I have ever ate in. As I understood, it’s a family business and they treat all guests as the family members. My Italian husband and his father loved it as well. Food is not fresh if u ask us. Looks like it’s come’s out the freezer since the tagliatelle is chopped up (u can tell parts are not in one piece anymore !) and not warm at all… 100% wasn’t fresh made that’s for sure ! tortellini is not on the menu but also looks like it straight comes out a package. We eat here with four persons. I had a Schnitzel which was fine but not like the wienerart I was used to. The problem started when one of us had a pasta which was more spicy than the average Indian meal with extra Tabasco. We sent it back to the kitchen and we got a half dish back.
