Nuova Pizzeria Bruna — Restaurant in Levanto

The pizzas are really good - the ones with meat especially, the one with aubergine - ok but not amazing (they forgot to put oregano on the pizza with aubergine and oregano, and aubergine was a bit blunt). But the service need a lot of improvement. We came earlier to make a reservation as we knew they were needed - we booked 8:30 but when we came back the waitress told me in my face that I booked 9:45 and that we’re too early. After 25 minutes of waiting for the table we got one but the waitress was avoiding us and didn’t come to get the order. When she came we ordered the pizzas and the wine, which we didn’t get till after the pizzas (the waitress thought we ordered water and brought us water instead of wine). We waited for some kind of apology or service recovery but when we told about our situation at the cashier the waitress kept accusing us that we ordered something else. We wanted a nice dinner in a recommended restaurant but ended up frustrated and annoyed. Amazing...

Went for pizza with my husband and sister this evening. Told we would be waiting 15 mins or so. We were happy with this and ordered a beer while waiting. A table came free but was given to two Italian men. I questioned this and was told that they had booked which I don't believe to be true. I was not happy and eventually they gave us a table. More people came and their orders were taken before ours. I had to go and bring this to the attention of the guy we first met. A girl took our order at last. The guy we first met came and asked if everything was OK. He referenced the table that was given to the Italian men that he hadn't seen it become free but he said earlier they had booked- lots of conflicting stories. My interpretation was that the locals get preference over the tourists who were there first.

Pizzas were nice, not amazing. We ordered water which we never got. Will not be returning or recommending to any of our friends...

These guys know what needs to be done and they do it IMPECCABLY!

We came with a big group of 30+ people, and everything was handled perfectly. The orders were taken, the food was cooked and served VERY QUICKLY. The waiters who, despite our massive group, still managed to easily serve any other customers, definitely deserve the recognition. Bravo to the two ladies that worked that night (Liza and Sara I think???), And the gentleman who was a little older than them.

We came in here after 3 other restaurants the previous days, and had pretty low expectations. Our priority was that we had to be served quickly, but we were blown away not only with how active the waiters were, but also by how good the food was!!! It was quick AND delicious! Bravo to the kitchen team!

A great experience, and they're better than 3 other restaurants we've tried during our stay....
