Ristorante Pizzeria Arco — Restaurant in Lignano Sabbiadoro

It is difficult to find a good restaurant in such a large seaside town. We got to ARCO quite by accident, because it was located near our hotel on the way to the beaches. The menu is very extensive, quite a lot of dishes to choose from :) Sometimes you have to think for a while. Menu in Italian, English and German. The dishes are very good, made with fresh ingredients. Italian pizza tastes like Italian pizza, not the cheap imitation served in the city center. This is the place where I experienced the best organized service I have ever seen. Lots of waiters but everyone knows what to do. You don't wait long for your order, the waiters are always ready to help you. Each of them smiling, each of them communicates in several languages. The pace of their work and professionalism make a huge impression. The owner watches over the restaurant with a watchful eye, in times of increased traffic, he takes care of the guests himself, which is very professional. First of all, this restaurant is good for those, who doesn’t care about the big crowd, or doesn’t look for an ambushed, little restaurant. Because it’s huge. Despite of the above mentioned things, the service was friendly, really really fast, and helpful! Prices were totally normal, but the food doesn’t taste like special. It was really ordinary for me, like anywhere in the world. It wasn’t so toothy for us, just really normal. The thing which was a problem i think, the amount of food! They were like HUGE! I couldn’t eat the half.. and it’s a problem because they have to throw it to the trash. I didn’t ask for this size, i’m a 50kg girl… and it would be nice i think, if you (it’s for the restaurant) would mention different sizes on the menu, with different prices, and the costumer could choose. That is how we could save a lot of food from trash, but the big people could also have big food. So that is my opinion and my advice for innovation. Hope...
