If you find yourself in Stromboli, do not miss this gem of a sandwich shop! We had the pleasure of trying the open-faced Panarea sandwich, and it was absolutely to die for. The combination of the freshest cheese and perfectly grilled vegetables created a flavour explosion that we couldn't get enough of.

We waited more than 40 minutes (!) for our sandwich, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full with guests. My girlfriend and I are very relaxed, flexible and spontaneous when it comes to time, especially when travelling. On Stromboli, however, we had to be back at the port at a certain time to catch the boat back. We also had only two hours on the island during the tour. Pane cunzato da applauso...e non solo..👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❗❗❗ Abbiamo scoperto questo posto (di recente apertura) appena arrivati a Stromboli e siamo diventati clienti affezionati: accolti con gentilezza, cortesia ed educazione (qualità che apprezziamo particolarmente e che sono sempre più rare tra gli esercenti dell'isola, spesso sgarbati e scontrosi) siamo rimasti positivamente impressionati dalla bontà delle preparazioni, avendo sin da subito apprezzato la qualità delle materie prime, la ricchezza delle farciture e gli accostamenti azzeccatissimi dei vari ingredienti, che non si limitano a quelli del pane cunzato "tradizionale" ma spaziano ampiamente per soddisfare tutti i gusti, senza dimenticare i vegetariani: BRAVI, RAGAZZI 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❗❗❗Ottimi anche i panini, potendo scegliere tra pane tradizionale, pane ai cereali (strepitoso!) e alla curcuma...per non parlare poi del "Gordo" con amburgher di Scottona che è un'esperienza da non perdere! Puoi scegliere la formula "take away" o fermarti (senza nessun sovrapprezzo) a consumare sul posto, in un gradevole spazio esterno illuminato in maniera discreta. I costi sono solo apparentemente un pò superiori rispetto alla media...ma se si considera l'assenza del coperto, e la ricchezza e qualità degli ingredienti, sono assolutamente equilibrati...Raccomandatissimo, da provare più di una volta per scoprire le varie specialità della casa...
