Lentisco — Restaurant in Livorno

We have been coming here for quite a few years. It was one of our favourite places to dine, soak up the atmosphere and beautiful views, service was also lovely. Sadly the place has changed management. We were assured the chef was the same. We were 4 people who ordered 3 antipasti/starters, 4 pasta dishes and 2 bottles of wine In a nutshell the food did not live up to its usual standards- a seafood pasta with hardly any seafood and a tiny main course that we sent back as we presumed they had mad a mistake and sent a starter. Its so sad that so charming place has got so terrible stuff. We came as a first guests with reservation, and they gave us the worst place without seaview, and nobody else come to sit to that great places with view. We asked if we can sit near to the view, but of course it was not possible. That we sat there and look for that empty tables with view :-( We ordered burgers, and it was no ketchup or mayo inside it. It was fine but so dry.. frenchfries look very poor. Maybe in the garden only for drinks will be better, but for me was really tragic, that so cool place can make so...

Con quella location avrebbero delle grandissime potenzialità se migliorassero il servizio a partire, magari, da un sorriso. Arriviamo e ci chiedono se vogliamo fare aperitivo o ristorante. Optiamo per ristorante ma ci rispondono che non c'è posto ma a breve si libererà qualche tavolo. Iniziamo quindi con aperitivo, 2 bicchieri di vino e una pizzetta (pizzetta di 20cm di diametro, margherita, a 10 euro, anche no, 12 euro x 2 calici può andare). Non prendono ordinazioni ai tavoli, numerati, che vanno scelti, dopodichè si ordina alla cassa dando il numero del tavolo; se ordini una pizzetta ti danno un gettone di plastica da restituire al momento che te la portano (???)...vabbè... tavoli sporchi e non puliti post abbandono degli stessi da parte dei precedenti avventori, cmq... facciamo finta di niente. Chiediamo ripetutamente a un paio di camerieri di avvisarci appena fosse disponibile il tavolo al ristorante e di farci al limite sapere quanto ancora bisogna aspettare in considerazione della "breve" attesa prospettataci all'arrivo. Nessun riscontro. Dopo 35/40 minuti ce ne andiamo nell'indifferenza totale anche degli addetti ai quali ripetutamente avevamo chiesto info.
