Il Vecchio Pirata — Restaurant in Lu Palau/Palau

Établissement qui porte bien son nom, de vrais "pirates". Attendez vous à une addition très salée pour une cuisine très incipide. On a pris un genre de "pains grillés vegan" en entrée, aucun assaisonnement et aucun gout, juste des poivrons grillés sur un pain sec. On a demandé 2 prosecco, on nous a facturé 2 "don perignon". Ensuite "linguine au homard", on ne choisi pas le poids de la bête, résultat: 180€ le plat, le serveur vous fait tout un cinéma de service après environ 2h d'attente, et nous fait tomber la moitié par terre en se contentant d'un "sorry" et sans ramasser le homard au sol. Pas de pinces fournies pour casser le homard et serveurs disparus, résultat un doigt en sang dans l'assiette. Ce même serveur au moment de l'addition, sans rien demander, vient vérifier l'addition auprès du bar - je me dis naïvement qu'il vient faire un geste commercial pour l'attente et pour son erreur - et bien non !! Il nous sale un peu plus l'addition pour un soda oublié pour l'enfant. Bref, addition 300€ pour 2h30 interminables et en sautant bien évidemment le dessert vu le temps d'attente. Attrape touriste par excellence. Je mets quand même 2 étoiles pour rendre hommage au homard (enfin ce qu'il en restait) qui était bon et n'y était pour rien. Établissement à fuir !

Establishment that bears its name well, real "pirates". Expect a very salty addition for a very inpid cuisine. We took a kind of "vegan toast" as a starter, no seasoning and no taste, just grilled peppers on dry bread. We asked for 2 prosecco, we were charged 2 "don perignon". Then "lobster linguine", we don't choose the weight of the beast, result: 180€ for the dish, the waiter gives you a whole service movie after about 2 hours of waiting, and makes us fall half on the ground content with a "sorry". No tongs provided to break the lobster and missing waiters, resulting in a bloody finger on the plate. This same waiter at the time of the bill, without asking, comes to check the bill at the bar - I naively tell myself that he has come to make a commercial gesture for the wait and for his mistake - well no!! He pays us a little more the bill for a forgotten soda for the child. In short, addition €300 for 2h30 interminable and obviously skipping the dessert given the waiting time. The perfect tourist trap. I still put 2 stars to pay tribute to the lobster (well what was left of it) which was good and had nothing to do with it....

TRUFFA TOTALE. Evitatelo. 178€ per una cena che definire ridicola è un complimento. Gli "antipasti di pesce crudo" erano 4 micro pezzi totali, uno per tipo, di qualità discutibile. Il tonno era così poco che non si riusciva neppure a prenderlo con la forchetta. Le linguine all'astice: una quantità vergognosa, con un astice che sembrava un gamberetto – 50 grammi scarsi con tutto il guscio. Pasta in un angolino del piatto, meno di una forchettata e mezza. Qualita pessima del cibo da dare neanche al cane. Abbiamo dovuto andare a mangiare una pizza subito dopo perché eravamo ancora affamati.

Sciami di api su tutto il pesce servito ai tavoli, una situazione igienica al limite. Cercano di allontanarle bruciando oli e caffè nei piattini, senza alcun risultato.

Il vino? Hanno ignorato la mia scelta e portato il più costoso, di qualità pessima. L’ho fatto cambiare. Servizio poco trasparente, orientato solo a spingere il conto alle stelle truffandoti costantemente .

Una gestione disastrosa, porzioni ridicole, rapporto qualità/prezzo scandaloso. Mai più.

This is a real foodie restaurant. Everything cooked to perfection!! Tuna seared and raw, the way it should be, melt in your mouth with a sauce that I believe is rouille based or bisque based, truly delicious. The ravioli Pirata was filled with seafood, lobster, crab, fish and was so tasty delicious that each mouthful was OMG. The best meal I have had in Sardinia. Nice romantic atmosphere by the waterfront boardwalk. Friendly staff and good service but could have been a bit more attentive. I had a bottle of Canayli vermentino which complimented well all dishes. Highly...
