My Family and I visit the beautiful city. We went into a situation where my kids need a toilet and I ask to use the toilet in this restaurant and pay for the use. The girl at the desk do not allow it to us. This is not service orientated! I ask two times in a very polite way. The third time the girl at the desk ignored me. This was a situation I never saw in a county where people usually love kids. Shame on your service personal to leave a dad with two kids which need get only to pee for 2 minutes, in such a situation. Read morePopped by this quaint shop to take some fresh assorted juice. It is a blend of orange, banana, apple, and whatever fruit they’ve got on display. A little steep at €3.50, but fresh and really yummy. The establishment is clean, including the washroom.
The lower review is that although we bought 2 juices and 1L of water, we had to beg them for ice. They insisted that they pay for ice, and literally gave us a mere 2 ice cubes each. While I can appreciate that the bistro likely does pay for their ice, it’s pennies to the dollars on what patrons pay for drinks, and no bar or bistro should be disavowing guests from an ice cold beverage. They should reconsider their stance on this.

Read moreWe stopped here for an espresso one morning and the atmosphere and staff were so friendly (as are the coffees and fresh squeezed orange juice) that we came back for lunch.
Pina and Christian are wonderful and both so genuine. Pina has a smile that lights up the world. And Christian is studying to be a sommelier. He is so informative and helpful and gave us so many great suggestions.
Their food is fantastic and so fresh. We had their traditional Lucca soup and a salad with grilled chicken. They have a wonderful wine list....and the prices are incredibly reasonable.
