Bad service, no one smiled or was interested in the customer. Food was below average, old and dry bread, the lasagna portion was small and looked like it had been heated in the microwave and overcooked pasta. I don't eat overcooked, sticky pasta at home either so I didn't finish my pasta. There were also problems with the invoice. We drank one Hugo spritz, one white wine and one prosecco. The bill included three white wines and a Hugo. We were not immediately believed, but our own waiter was called to the place and the new bill did have the correct drinks, but the price of Hugo had been increased from five euros to six euros. At this point, however, my husband just wanted to leave and started paying the bill. Really bad experience and I would never again eat at this restaurant. The square is indeed atmospheric but this place is a real...
Read moreOur family asked for a table and were told by an already irritated woman to walt in line. So we did. A long time. More and more people came and waited all over the place. When it was our turn. The same woman called an Italien family who asked for a table long time after us and wasn’t waiting in line. They also didn’t have a reservation. I calmly said that we were there first and waited as she told us. She told me to calm myself. Didn’t even bother to apologize or anything and continued to take care of the Italien family. It seems that as a tourist you are not appreciated there. Who cares if you treat one family right, the next is waiting around the corner. The woman was very irritated by us, foreigners. As she can choose to be hospitable to only certain people, our family chose to leave our money at a...
Read moreWe were sat down and awaited service but after at least 20 minutes we had to call a waiter over to take our order. When he came over 5 mins after we asked for one he ignored what we were saying and told us we had to wait. Our food came and my partner’s pizza was sopping wet for some reason??? My pasta was barely ample to feed a dying child. The aperol spritz my partner got was tiny and had large amounts of ice so even thought it was €3 I’d say it would take 50 to intoxicate a newborn. We then saw crisps being handed out and asked if we could have a bowl but instead of being complimentary they were added to our bill (even though snacks are free with an aperol as per the sign outside the restaurant). Overall a horrible experience and we will never return. Shame. Shame on...
