La Fiaccola — Restaurant in Marciana Marina

Not worth the time or the money. It's rare to come across a restaurant in Italy that's so incapable.

The service was incompetent but not unfriendly. The young people seemed to be trying but appeared to be given the dishes from the kitchen at random. A table of the didn't get two plates at the same time.

The food was with one exception terrible. The exception being a pizza margherita, which was ok. The sword fish, the tuna, the calamari and shrimps were all such you almost hoped they had not wasted fresh seafood on such outcomes.

There are plenty of other restaurants in town so done waste a good...

We visited this place in August 2020. Unfortunately we were not happy neither with the food or the service. The lady in the entrance door, who in our opinion was the owner, didn't have an idea about all the complaints people were given about the food to the poor waiter. We were sitting and have 6 tables around us out of which 4, had complaints about the food quality. We don't recommend it AT All for a night out dinner! If you can't find any other free place to eat at night, you better have a take away pizza or something else instead, don't ruin your evening by going...

Non sono abituato a dare recensioni negative, e quindi preferisco dare 4 stelle invece che una nella speranza che la bellezza dell'isola possa dare una spinta nel fare qualcosa di meglio... i primi alla granseola erano al pomodoro e di granseola poco sapeva e poco vedeva. Stoccafisso all'Elbana poco Elbana e molte pelli e lische, fritto duro, e con olio di qualità inaccettabile, non si uccide totani e gamberi per fargli fare una fine così poco nobile. Cozze ripiene buone, polpo e patate conditi anch'esso con un olio di qualità bassissima, peccato sciupare delle buone materie prime così. Dolce ok. In vacanza uno è disposto anche ad accettare 20 euro di ricarico su un rose autoctono, ma Dio Santissimo un po' d'amore in cucina ci vuole altrimenti cosa lo fai a fare il ristoratore? Cenare all'elba è sicuramente un gran privilegio ma deve esserlo anche per chi cucina e per chi ordina le materie prime. Risparmiare 2 euro su un litro d'olio non cambia sicuramente la...
