Brasserie al Mulino — Restaurant in Marostica

Purtroppo viviamo in una società in cui le recensioni dovrebbero essere tutte positive. Mi e’ stato chiesto a fine pranzo se andava tutto bene e molto limpidamente ho risposto NO. Domenica, prenotazione almeno consigliata (così mi hanno detto, se non obbligatoria come è scritto sul sito). Sono entrata, ero da sola e senza prenotazione (ora 13.30) e ho chiesto se potevo pranzare. Non mi è stato risposto NO. Non mi e’ stato risposto nemmeno SI, MA dovrà aspettare più del solito. Mi è stato detto semplicemente SI. Il piatto è arrivato dopo 1 ORA. E no, il ristorante non era pieno come hanno voluto farmi credere. Potevo tranquillamente alzarmi e fare la proporzione tra i tavoli occupati e quelli liberi. Non l’ho fatto per non esibire loro un numero secco, nero su bianco. Ho dato 2 come recensione totale perché il piatto era davvero ottimo. Specifico che è la seconda volta che mangio in questo posto; la prima volta con prenotazione. Quella prima volta eravamo in gruppo e il ristorante era pieno per davvero. Abbiamo aspettato 2 ore per mangiare, e nessuno ha detto niente, perché era comprensibile. Quello successo oggi no, non era comprensibile.

Quando mi hanno chiesto se andava TUTTO bene chiaramente ho risposto NO, ma le recensioni negative non piacciono a nessuno. Mi hanno detto che è perché era domenica (la volta precedente non era domenica), mi hanno detto che è perché non avevo prenotato (vedere le due risposte alternative che avrebbero potuto dare in anticipo), mi hanno detto che il ristorante era pieno (e no, non lo era affatto). Allora si è passato all’offesa: per aver espresso legittimamente la mia opinione mi sono presa pubblicamente della maleducata. Auguro ogni bene a questo posto, ma con grande piacere mio e grande soddisfazione del personale io non sarò più suo cliente e sicuramente non lo...

I have finally found a fantastic place where they serve excellent burgers! As an expat (American living in Italy), I am usually exploring for unique, historic places that makes me say "wow"! As soon as I walked in, the owner's daughter was kind and explained the historical significance of this old mill, and made suggestions on what I should try...and to her credit, she did not disappoint! Be forewarned that you should make reservations to eat during a busy evening, but to only drink and have a friendly conversation, it is always inviting without it. Either way, Brasserie al Mulino is definitely a place you must experience...and did I mention EVERYONE is so...

This is like an artisanal bar with copper beer spigots and local grappas set inside a castle-like lobby. Yet it is a fun atmosphere and chill like a fancy pub with the soccer game going on by the bar. Another area is the full restaurant side that is a comfortable sit down table area as well. Food is great and a good selection of beers plus on tap. I tried their staff recommended grappa- blended grappa with local rum served with dark chocolates; pretty awesome. Staff is super friendly.
