Recommended to us by a friend who has lived here for 16 years as… “The best Arancine in the city!” Quite the statement!

They didn’t disappoint. We couldn’t choose which to have as they all sound delicious so we had 4 between the two of us! A glutinous decision but worth every penny, and I say that because they cost pennies. At €2 each you can have a filling arancine and a drink for under €5, an absolute bargain for such a mouth watering delight.

The lady that served us has the most welcoming smile a wicked sense of humour too! I don’t know many Italian ladies but she was the epitome of stereotypical Italian mum! The bakery is qwerky, cosy, clean and friendly.

I used to come to this panificio every year when I visit my relatives in Marsala (daily morning to get some pastries and evening to get Arancini), what I’ve noticed during the last three years that the old and young ladies have changed a lot and became very rude without any reason. I just want to remember you that we are customers and we are coming to enjoy our holidays expecting to be served with a smile.( at least we are paying for it). By far the best Arancine in Marsala, freshly made to order so not really a fast option, you can order in advance and collect, wait in the queue and choose to take away or eat in (only 8 seats inside) there are so many options on fillings that the queue time is taken up looking at the various combinations.
