Il Pirata — Restaurant in Marta

We reserved a table for six. Upon arrival we ordered a round of drinks and we sat inside which was not enclosed as there were doors opened. While trying to enjoy our wine, there were flies swarming around us. We then asked to be seated outside with the hopes that the flies would be less . We moved to the outside and we ate our meals and consistently fought off the flies. We asked the waiter to turn on the fans that were under the covered tent to which he replied they were broken. We were very disappointed also with the quality of the food. The frutta di mare was sparse and the spaghetti and clams were grave disappointment in that the clams were the size of a one cent penny or euro. We ask the manager for a discount for the Bad experience however he did not seem to be concerned or interested in accommodating us. We will not return to this establishment. Happy to share my experience. Nice and affordable restaurant by the lake with an amazing view. Despite my coeliac disease I was able to choose plenty of dishes from the menu. I hope they will start to have also gluten free pasta and fried calamari and definitely a dessert too as unfortunately I was not able to enjoy! The pictures listed are from my brother I had risotto seafood and mussels tomato soup. The only issue was the customer service A lady tried to deliver me a gluten free bun left earlier to another table. After refusing it( firstly for my allergies, secondly for covid matters), I have been told to get another bun I should had waited 7 more minutes. Which I was happy to do so, with no complains. An absolute feast by the lake – unforgettable experience

We had the pleasure of dining here and it was, quite simply, a banquet. Every single dish was beautifully prepared – from the fresh mussels and vibrant pasta to the grilled seafood platter and the perfectly crisp fritto misto. The sides were just as impressive, especially the seasonal greens.

Not only was the quality exceptional, but the value for money was outstanding. Portions were generous, flavours were spot on, and service was warm and efficient throughout.

What truly elevates the experience, though, are the views – absolutely breathtaking. Dining with a view over the lake at sunset made it something really special.
