Edit after comment from the owner: as it can be seen, other customers have complained about the same points that I have mentioned. Instead of taking this as a learning curve, the owner prefers to attack the clients. Very good to know - even though we enjoyed the food, we will never come back here. As for his last comment: we made our order very fast, we weren’t loud, we left right after eating and didn’t sit there forever blocking a table, even gave a small tip - but seems that this type of customers are not what the owner is looking for.

Food is great, everything we have ordered tasted superb; prices are very fair as well for the amount of food you get and the location of the restaurant is super easy to find. Now the negative points: decoration of the place is stuck in the 80s (felt like a Hell’s Kitchen episode); the owner seemed in a very bad mood - he wasn’t rude to us directly, but felt like whatever we asked, he was about to explode, similar to other clients as well - also the service was somewhat slow (we waited for so long to get the check that we decided to stand up and walk towards the entrance to show him again that we wanted to pay and leave, and even then took some time). All in all is a very good place, it’s a bit of a shame that you don’t really feel welcomed in...

Quite disappointing dinner at this place, which seems stuck in the 70s/80s in terms of the decoration and overall vibe was kind of sad and the place is too busy, as there are way too many tables. The food was not bad but the overall experience was such that unfortunately I wouldn't go back. And it's a pity because the place was very good 20 years ago. The place was empty - only one table apart from ours and we waited for what seemed ages between the starters and the mains and the music was quite loud and a bit of a downer; I don't mind a bit of blues but playing it all the time, it added to the overall feeling of sadness. The receptionist/waitress did not seem particularly interested and was bordering on being rude. I hope they are able to pick things up, modernise the place a bit and improve the customer skills of the staff, which can only improve the...

Typical pugliese food revisited. Amazingly delicious, one of the best meals in our trip. Plates are abundant and well presented, prices are fair.

The reason for a 4-star review is that the waitress kept on insisting that we order more food. We just wanted a Primo piatto each, the waitress kept on insisting that we take antipastis, then a Secondo piatto. After we ate, they asked us more than five times in total if we wanted coffee or a liquor.

Last note: ask for an official receipt, unless you pay with credit card they only give you a white paper with the total, which is not official. You are entitled to an official receipt even if...

What a surprise! One of best lunch I had on holiday, their traditional antipasti were really good, first course pasta the traditional sugo was really nice and they have their amazing Bocconotto with custard and black cherry. The premises were cosy and very original with a great display of wines and spirits. Thanks I will be back for sure!

Do not walk past this restaurant. The food was very tasty. The pork stew was succulent and the lamb fell from the bone. Service was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about helping us choose a wine. Inside the restaurant is very charming. Average pricing, so won’t empty your wallet. Recommended.
