Wow - couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly! We had such an incredible meal and the staff were so kind and genuine. We came 20min late for our booking due to parking difficulties but they were not at all fussed and accommodated us immediately. We had both orecchieti dishes and they were incredible - couldn't recommend this restaurant more for authentic Puglian home cooking at extremely reasonable prices. Even the bread and foccacia for the coperto were delicious and homemade (as were the very fresh vegetables they gave us!). Our only regret is having had a degustation at our agriturismo earlier in the evening and not having enough space to try more food here or any of their wines! Absolutely recommend going here for a great meal, you won't regret it! Both orechietti (tomato and turnip) were one of the best pasta dishes we had in 3...

We stumbled upon this restaurant and sat at a pavement table. All the staff were excellent, friendly and the young waitress who spoke excellent English made our visit special. The shared antipasti was exquisite, with the mushroom soufflé delicate and golden; golden Herby pink meatballs and a delicious platter of meats and cheeses. The Oricchiette with ragi had such tender meat and the pasta with rapé and anchovies was tasty. The glass of local red wine was light and fruity and the chinotto a splendid local alternative to cola. Good value for €75, but the staff attitude (including shifting the umbrella as our table became exposed to the sun) made it an excellent stop....and the onstreet parking nearby was free...

Very unpleasant servers. My answer to the restaurant's comment : It was clear that the tables were not all booked : when we arrived and asked if it was possible to have diner, the 2 servers looked at each other and hesitated a bit, then one of them decided that no. When I asked why, the answer was : we do not want to start the service yet (although they were done preparing the tables and were clearly waiting for customers to arrive) and when the service will start the tables will surely all be occupied. They did not say it was fully booked. And even if all the tables are booked, there are nice ways to annonce this...
