We had a really good experience. Was the server grinning from ear to ear? No, but he was also the only person running the whole floor…and he still managed to attend to everyone within a reasonable amount of time. We didn’t order wine, just shared a beer, but we ordered antipasti, frutti di mare fritti, and pizza. Everything was perfect. It’s an unassuming place, but these guys are paying attention to the details. The dough on the pizza was perfect. It had character. Those who really know bread will understand what I mean. Anyone can buy the freshest ingredients to top a pizza. Very few have the patience and attention to detail to let their dough develop over 18, 24, or 36 hours. You can taste it here. The fry was perfect too. Not too heavy, not oily, crispy, just enough salt. There is no great view, but for me, the quality of what I was eating far stood out over the mediocrity I ate while watching sunsets closer to the beach. AMAZING!! Stuffed fried pumpkin flowers, Ravioli filled and served with shrimp, then Fritto Misto. Pumpkin Flowers tasted like it was filled with a goats type cheese but not as strong. In fact it was ricotta but they dip the flowers in batter with egg, flour, and parmesan. Sooo tasty 😋. The ravioli was quite possibly the best ravioli I have ever eaten!!! It was so light! But so flavoursem and delicious 🤤 the little bit of lemon made the dish pop. Incredible 😍. We were staying in the area and decided to try Don Giovanni for our evening meal. Although football was playing in the restaurant and it smelt a bit greasy, the food and wine were pretty decent!

The Ravioli was lovely and the pizzas too! The waiters were friendly and took our order quickly, although didn't come back to ask if we'd like more drinks.

Overall, I'd recommend, the food prices are reasonable but the wine quite pricey.

Coming from Britain where smoking is banned inside restaurants/pubs, we're used to being able to eat our meals without ingesting someone's second hand smoke...this wasn't the case here, maybe one day,...
