This restaurant was suggested by our Airbnb host who is a Napolitano. We ordered the Bruschetta and Napoli Pizza. The Bruschetta was simple but had a unique, the olive oil gave it an extra taste. The Napoli pizza on the other hand had anchovies in it. We come from the south of India where we have fried anchovies with rice or porridge, so having it in our pizza was definitely a different taste. Purtroppo non sono rimasto particolarmente soddisfatto. Io e la mi ragazza abbiamo prenotato alle 21.30 e siamo entrati nel ristorante alle 21.55. Le prenotazioni non servono solo al ristoratore ma anche al cliente che magari dopo potrebbe avere altri impegni. Abbiamo visto entrare davanti a noi persone senza prenotazione e la cosa ci ha dato un po’ fastidio. Riusciamo finalmente a sederci e ordiniamo un misto di pesce per 2 persone. Mi dispiace dire che purtroppo non ci è sembrato particolarmente fresco e anzi, era insapore. Dopodiché è il momento dei primi piatti. Arrivano ma uno dei due è sbagliato. Di norma, bisognerebbe portar via entrambi i piatti per far sì che i clienti possano mangiare nello stesso momento. Ovviamente non è successo e dopo aver atteso 10 minuti, abbiamo iniziato a mangiare insieme l’unico primo arrivato, altrimenti si sarebbe freddato. Nel mentre abbiamo chiesto 3 volte il pane che è arrivato solo dopo aver finito il primo piatto. Dopo 25 minuti arriva anche l’altro primo, che ovviamente ho mangiato da solo. Buono ma niente di eccezionale. Nel mentre, riuscire a fermare un cameriere era un’impresa impossibile. Anche per il caffè abbiamo atteso 15 minuti. Magari un menu più semplice e con meno scelta, potrebbe favorire la freschezza delle pietanze ma soprattutto rispettate gli orari di prenotazione. Altrimenti, più semplicemente, fate meno tavoli.
