La Cuccuma Bistrot — Restaurant in Milan

The menu wasn't the one people posted in the reviews section. It had very few dishes and we didn't want to order. We saw the plates other people ordered and it was very little food. We ended up ordering something to drink and dessert. The tiramisu was very good. The service instead was very awful. The lady was not pleased with the fact that we ordered food and dessert, not dinner cause 'it's a restaurant, you go there to eat' as she put it. She kept reminding us this and wasn't friendly. Amazing dinner with Alex's help. She helped us decide on zucchini flowers filled with provolone which were the best we have ever tasted. The table had pork belly, ravioli, eggplant and rabbit ragu pasta. All the dishes were very flavorful. We ended with peach sorbet, tirimisu and a surprise dish with bread, cream and strawberries...a favorite of the entire table. Wish we were in Milan longer to go back again. Siamo stati sabato sera, presso il locale scelto per le ottime recensioni sulla cucina. Avevamo prenotato per 10 adulti e otto bambini di cui due seggioloni. Appena arrivati abbiamo sistemato i bambini ed ordinato senza problemi . Durante la serata i bambini (età media 4-5 anni ) sono stati seduti a giocare e a colorare.Si sentivano le loro voci,certo, ma nulla di più, nulla di così fastidioso da poter disturbare i timpani di alcuni ospiti sensibili alle voci bianche dei bambini . Ne è seguito un richiamo continuo a noi genitori, colpevoli di non aver saputo dare l’educazione giusta ai nostri figli e di non essere riusciti nell’impresa di crescere dei soldatini muti e immobili da arruolare presso Buckingham palace. La situazione è degenerata e lo chef "gentilmente " ci ha invitati ad andar via. La colpa ? Aver portato dei bambini.... Peccato che la prenotazione specificava la loro presenza, sarebbe stato più onesto dirci che in quel locale non erano graditi soprattutto i bambini.
