New Friday — Restaurant in Milan

We ate here on our first night in Milan, staying at the (relatively) nearby Hilton Garden Inn. Having walked from the hotel, we originally planned to eat at a closer pizzeria, but upon finding that one was closed, we searched on TripAdvisor again & found this one. Extremely pleased that we did though! The menu is extremely extensive, with plenty of pizzas that you would be hard-pushed to find in the UK. The prices were also very reasonable, which was an added bonus. I would certainly recommend any of the calzone on the menu, which is what we had - they were huge & packed full of fillings. Would definitely eat here again if...

They had a english speaking server and a english menu at hand. They served us top notch italian cuisine, 100% according to our wishes. Service is top grade, they know when to ask you for stuff and when to go on to the next course. The resturant has a darker interior but makes you feel cosy and at home. Even though we brought our kid in a stroller they accomondated us a good table and made room for us all.

We will definitely come...

It's a mixed feeling.. I like some of their pizzas and some I just don't understand. I ordered a pizza with porcini mushrooms and lots of onoion.. the onion came completely uncooked and the mushrooms wer'nt even baked properly.. I tried to explain.. but they were absent to reason.. their tiramisu though is really nice.. prices are slightly on...
